Editor’s Note: Contempo Cafe has been removed from Disney’s system as a mobile order option. That said, since they went to the trouble to load all of the code into their system, we’re guessing it will be an option soon. Stay tuned.
Mobile Order — a process available via the My Disney Experience app, which gives guests the chance to bypass the register lines in participating restaurants by ordering and paying for their food in advance, has been available in select Counter Service spots since May 2017. The service has been limited, however, to locations in all four parks and Disney Springs.
But this weekend, the service made its debut in a Disney World Resort: The Contemporary Resort’s Contempo Cafe!
We can only presume that the process will roll out to Counter Service locations in other Resorts, and we will continue to update our Mobile Order Page as the service expands.

Remember, Mobile Order is still only able to accept payment by credit card, so guests paying with Disney Dining Plan credits or gift cards (or hoping to have discounts applied) won’t be able to do so with Mobile Order as of yet.

Any idea why they got rid of this? Sounds super convenient and not that different from the kiosks.
