Just last week, Disney fans everywhere commiserated about Disneyland’s Main Street Cinema being transformed into a merchandise location.
Well, Disney heard the cries of fans… and listened.
Because, as of yesterday, Main Street Cinema no longer features “Cartoons and Collectibles…” Instead, it’s simply and happily “Cartoons.”
Guests can once again visit the location and watch classic Disney shorts as they were intended to be seen — in the dark and without being surrounded by red, white, and blue merchandise (as they were last week).
They have also added benches to the location for more viewing enjoyment!
So, stop by and watch a classic Disney cartoon on your next visit to Disneyland to ensure that this classic stop indeed remains a classic spot.

Great that the change has been undone – there are plenty of places to buy stuff but, though I’ve only been to WDW, I have to imagine quiet spots that are strictly for Disney magic are few at Disneyland. Now if we can save the Country Bears at WDW…
wow so Disneyland management actually listens while Disney World management does not when it comes to similar like things. says something dont you think?
