A giant THANK YOU to everyone who made a suggestion for my next favorite drink at Disney World!
As you know, my beloved Leisure Suit has been retired, and I’ve long needed a replacement so that I can stop bugging bartenders to flip through their rolodexes.
Here are the suggestions I received, and, seeing as that Grey Goose Citron Slush was suggested 3 times, I think that’s the most serious contender!
Thank you again, and be sure to check out what everyone else recommended below (If anyone has any photos of these drinks, please let me know — I’d love to post them on the blog!):

Come on! No one said the Kungaloosh from The Adventurers Club on Pleasure Island? I know, it’s not there anymore. I’m in denial.
admin says
Kungaloosh — I’m in denial, too. I loved that drink. Too bad they haven’t “re-purposed” it somewhere else… Maybe someday!

I have a picture of the Grey Goose Slushie and the Pomegranate Kir.
AJ says
@Kelly — You do?!? Any chance you could send them to me ([email protected])? I’d love to post them…
Mush says
Add one more vote for the Grey Goose Slushie (sorry for the delay…behind in reading the blogs I follow)!!! A trip to Epcot is not complete for us without one of these.
AJ says
No problem Mush! Thanks for your vote! I’m always glad to see you around the food blog.

Pet Peeve. The Mai Tai’s they serve at WDW are not authentic. The Mai Tai was invented at Trader Vic’s in L.A. No orange juice, no pineapple juice, no sour mix. They should be rum, triple sec, orgeat (almond ) syrup, grenadine, fresh lime juice and powdered sugar or simple syrup. The tartness comes from the lime juice, not sour mix. The final color should be red-ish. How red depends on whether you use light or dark rum.

BOTH the Yak Attack and the Big Bamboo from Yak and Yeti are GREAT!

I love the Grand Mariner Orange Slush and Backscratcher at Poly Resort, but you forgot one of the best drinks EVER on the Disney property!!! That is Lapu Lapu drink at Poly – the one that is served in actual Pineapple as a drink.

Rum Runner at Capt Jack’s are very, very good. Love the floater on top, you can get them a lot of places, but they make them best at DTD.
Lauren says
What???? What about Lapu Lapu from Polyseain Resorts??

I have a pic of the Grand Marnier slushie – it’s one of my faves! I know this is a really old post but I’m happy to send it to you if you’re still looking for pics.
And my favorite drinks to add to the list – the Konk Kooler on Castaway Cay, and the Victoria Falls Mist at Animal Kingdom Lodge. YUM!

Avocado margaritas at La Cava. I live in Phoenix and the margaritas at La Cava are the best I’ve ever had. The bartenders were fantastic too, definitely one of our favorite stops in WDW. We will be in WDW during Cinco de Mayo (and Flower&Garden show!) this year so I’m sure they’ll have a few additional specialty drinks to try.
