Start your Disney Vacation with a bang! We’re excited to announce a new WDW Foodie Fest event that will take place in Epcot on the evening of October 4th, 2011! Join me and other Disney Food Blog readers for an evening of…
Fun, Food, and Fireworks!
The Snack Attack, Featuring DFB Favorites, is an event like none other! On October 4th, our guests will arrive at a private Illluminations Fireworks viewing location in Epcot (psst…it’ll be in the UK pavilion!) and get down to business — the business of eating, that is!
This dessert party doesn’t just offer a few generic cannoli and brownies. No sir. We’ve worked with Disney to provide a menu that will excite even the biggest Disney food fan! The menu of the evening will include a buffet of…
Starring Rolls’ Butterfinger Cupcakes
Classic Disney Popcorn
Animal Kingdom Lodge Zebra Domes
Mickey Ice Cream Bars
Norway’s School Bread
Writer’s Stop’s Carrot Cake Cookies
Boardwalk Bakery’s Cheesecake Brownies
Starring Rolls’ Red Velvet Cheesecake Cupcakes
And MORE!
What a great way to start the evening!
But that’s not all!! Once you’ve had your fill, relax and enjoy a fabulous view of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, Epcot’s outstanding fireworks spectacular, from our private viewing area! That’s right — no jostling for the best view, no saving seats. You’ve already got a great view, so just sit back and take it all in.
Cost for this event will be $40 per person. Tickets will be limited! Ticket information will be announced soon on the Disney Food Blog Newsletter, our WDWFoodieFest.com website, and right here on the Disney Food Blog, so stay tuned.
Please note that this event will in addition to our Oct. 2nd Beach Club Resort event. You can see the WDW Foodie Fest schedule of events here!
Also — wanted to add that I got this great idea from a Mother’s Day event created by fellow blogger Mark D.! He’s written up a review of his event for Disney Food Blog that I’ll be sharing soon!

Well this sounds awesome!!!! I shall have to plan my F&W weekend now!
Gillian says
Sounds amazing! I think my head would explode if I had all of my favorite things all in one place like that and be able to have a great spot for Illuminations, too! Is the UK location going to be that patio area down below the pub? Seems like a great place to watch the fireworks from.
Jo says
That is VERY cool! I wish I could be there! I’m coming in the next day!! 🙁
laurie says
oh oh i am so going to this…happy birthday to me!

Awesome! I’m actually going to be there that night, and this sounds like a great deal!! Count me and hubby in!!
James says
Darn it! I’m leaving on the 2nd!! ARGH! I’ve been to an Illuminations Dessert Party before and wasn’t really too impressed with the selection of desserts, so I’m glad to see DFB doing it RIGHT even if I can’t make it.
Elizabeth says
I am SO in for this. Yea!
leah says
Oh my goodness. I think I need to change my travel plans and stay for this! My wedding Dessert party was supposed to be in UK, but we got rained out. This wonderful assortment of all the best WDW treats will surely make up for that! NICE work, DFB! Really nice!
Shayne says
I’m going to cry — I want to go to this so badly! If only a plane ticket to Disney wasn’t so doggone expensive.
canadianslovewdw says
wow that looks awesome another homerun by the DFB, will there be beverages included or are people going to have to smuggle their own milk in…
Abby says
I so wish I could come! Sounds like a great evening and chance to get to meet other Disney foodies. But I’m not going until Oct 24-28 🙁
Anderson says
I wish I could go too. I’ve been dying to try all of those things since reading about them here. Unfortunately, I’m on the other site of the country LOL
JoAnn says
I wish I lived closer.
James (Disneynorth) says
When can I purchase my tickets?????
Mark D. says
I am still trying to figure out how to get down for those dates. This just gives me another reason.
Now…..if I could just find a free flight.
Galloping Gourmand says
nobody ever holds meets in the summer when I’m off. 🙁
AJ says
So excited to see so many of you! Bummer that we’ll miss those of those who can’t attend. Don’t worry, though, we might do it again next year!! Ticket info coming soon!
Vikki says
Wish this was a week later when I’ll be there. Sounds like a great party!
Josh says
Super stoked for this. Just hope things are mini-sized or cut into pieces because it’s going to be difficult (but not impossible) to eat one of everything full size.
AJ says
Josh — Can’t promise anything! I’m guessing… full-sized! 😉
Debra Peterson says
Oh, I haven’t booked my trip yet – was only planning to do a quick weekend for the 40th. I may just have to change my mind. But only if someone will promise to roll me to the airport when it’s time. 😛
Chris says
OMG–You have no idea how I wish I was going to be there for this dessert party!!! Everyone who goes…just know I am jealous but I hope you all enjoy this!
