I recommend putting this dose of southern sweetness at the top of your list. It’s Banana Bread Pudding from the Main Street Bakery, and it’s definitely worth a try. 😉
The muffin-like top has the consistency of coffee-cake or strudel, and is encrusted with sugar crystals. Inside, the fresh taste of banana sweetens each bite. When it’s fresh out of the oven, the banana bread pudding really lives up to its hype. Consider this a classic comfort food!
This creamy and flavorful snack is a great breakfast option too. If you love bananas and chocolate, pair it with hot cocoa! For extra richness, ask for a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

I had this last April. It was very good. I like how they cook them in the individual containers, like cupcakes, as opposed to a giant “sheet” of bread pudding that’s later cut into squares. It’s also kept warm under a heat lamp, just like the cinnamon buns.
Like I said, very good and you can really taste the banana. My only complaint is that it was a tad dry for me. However, I didn’t know you could ask for ice cream on top! That would have made it like 139% better.

I am so glad you did a post on this. I remember this was the first snack I had on my last trip to WDW and I couldn’t believe how amazing it was…DELICIOUS!

John B — Agreed 100% about the ice cream. They always have it at the Bakery for the ice cream cookie sandwiches, so it never hurts to ask. I might ask if they’ll put some of that cinnamon roll icing on it, too. ;-0
TJ — Yay! Glad to bring up good memories!

That looks great! I also love the individual container thing! Charming and portable! 🙂

Doesn’t it taste quite sweet? Banana being an effective natural sweetener, I wonder about the impact of added sugar crystals. But it does look delicious. Where’s my chocolate sauce?! 😉

WHAT!? That looks and sounds outstanding! Definitely at the top of my list.
Screw you, waistline – next time I go I’m eating everything in sight.
