We’re gearing up for the 2011 WDW Foodie Fest events, which begin the first week of October — check out our schedule of events here!
WDW Foodie Fest
Isn’t Disney food even better when we share it with friends? We designed the WDW Foodie Fest as a party for Disney Food fans as we celebrate the opening days of the 2011 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
Currently there are four events scheduled during WDW Foodie Fest!
Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011: WDW Foodie Fest Main Event
Let’s all meet at Ariel’s in Disney’s Beach Club Resort from 11am-1pm.
This FREE event is available to everyone, and is an “open house” type of event, meaning you’re welcome to stop by whenever you’re available (no need too stay the full two hours, though you’re welcome to do so :-D).
If you arrive early enough, you’ll be able to take part in our annual WDW Foodie Fest scavenger hunt through Epcot! There will be prizes, so be prepared for a little competition… .
Of course, if you prefer to gather rather than scavenge, we’ll have games, food, and fun at Ariel’s!
Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011: WDW Foodie Fest Snack Attack Illuminations Dessert Party, Featuring DFB Favorites!
**EVENT SOLD OUT** Thank you for your overwhelming interest in this event!! For those of you with tickets, this will be a memorable Disney Food event featuring Disney Food Blog favorite snacks and an incredible viewing of IllumiNations, Reflections of Earth. I can’t wait!!!
For those who were not able to get tickets, the event will likely be returning next year!
Date TBD: WDW Foodie Fest Sweet Stroll
Join me for a trip around the World. Our focus on this stroll around Epcot’s World Showcase: desserts! We’ll be stopping to sample some of our favorite sweet treats during our travels.
When: We haven’t announced the date on this one yet, but will be doing so very shortly!
Cost: Free to stroll with us, but budget enough to cover your chosen treats.
Date TBD: WDW Foodie Fest Sushi and Sake Meet
Join me at Kimonos at the Disney World Swan Resort for sushi, sake, good fun, and friends! With great sake and maybe some Karaoke — we’re expecting some memorable moments during this evening get-together.
When: Date hasn’t been announced yet, but it will be at the end of WDW Foodie Fest week!
Cost: Food and drink purchases are at your expense, but the fun is for everyone!
Special Price and Complimentary Upgrade at the WDW Dolphin Resort for DFB Readers!
Just a reminder that Disney Food Blog fans and WDW Foodie Fest attendees can get a discounted price and complimentary upgrade at the WDW Dolphin Resort from October 1-9, 2011! This resort is within walking distance of all WDW Foodie Fest events and the Epcot Food and Wine Festival! See details here!
