Hmm… last I checked the calendar it was August, but in “Disney time” that means Halloween is right around the corner! Check out these not-so-spooky treats Heather and I found in Disneyland and in Disney World! One question, though — why is Mickey’s tongue hanging out on all of the logos? Weird. On we go…
I’m usually not a fan of the pre-packaged, hard-icing sugar cookies, but these might be too cute to pass up.
And here are a couple of treats for the candy corn lover! We didn’t try them, but gummy candy corn smelled oddly of butter….yep, I said butter. Next time you’re in a Disney candy store, see if you can find a bag and smell ’em. Would love to hear from anyone who’s tried them!
If Halloween cookies and cupcakes are your thing, grab these Halloween Disney sprinkles! And for gummy fans, there are even sour worms for sale!
This giant canister (that is, admittedly, a bit spooky) is full of individually wrapped Halloween-sprinkled cookies. This is perfect for a school class treat, a gift for the teacher, or a Halloween party at home. Very easy to transport!
Have you seen any more spooky holiday goodies in Disney World or Disneyland? Let us know in the comments below!

Halloween time already? ….be still my heart! I’ve never been more excited about my impending move to Orlando (in October, of course). I don’t know if I can resist the siren call of halloween treats that long, though. Thanks for the taunting, err, pick-me-up.

They look great and nice shot of the cookies at the top A.J.! 🙂 My little girl (5) is now old enough to really understand the holiday…it’s all about the candy and sweets. 🙂 We’re all going as Pirates this year and I look forward to getting my face painted and taking the Pirates oath this year at WDW. 🙂

Lindsay — So exciting!! What a wonderful month to move there, too — great weather, food and wine, etc.!
Carolyn — I thought so, too!
James — Sounds like so much fun! Thanks for the compliment; the rest came out a little blurry, but the cookies do look OK! Always an honor coming from you.

I’m so excited that we will be there on the 11th (hopefully we have our power back in CT before then ugh)! We will be attending the first night of MNSSHP so we are happy to get in the Halloween spirit. Where did you find these goodies?
Beth D. says
So cute! We will be in WDW for Halloween this year – I can’t wait!
AJ says
Kristi — These will be sold in the Confectionery and in other WDW candy locations 🙂 In Disneyland, they’re at Candy Palace!
Beth D — Yay!!!!

why is Mickey’s tongue hanging out on all of the logos? => I’m just guessing, but could this be, because Mickey is portraited as a werewolf ? I’ve seen plush werewolf Mickeys, and his tongue is hanging out too…
AJ says
Ooh! Good point, Ruth!
Ryan says
How much was the tin of cookies?
Elizabeth says
I think tongue hanging out Mickey is ADORABLE! LOL! I like it when he looks like he’s got some spunk!
Gina says
I’m with Ryan… How much is that adorable tin of cookies, and how many are in there?! YUM!
