The 2012 Epcot Food and Wine Festival seminars and demonstrations will offer some unique opportunities to enhance your festival experience!
These events are low in cost (and sometimes, free!), and are held at the Festival Welcome Center in Epcot’s Future World (the old Wonders of Life Pavilion).

2012 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Culinary Demonstrations
Helpful tips are presented by professional chefs and wine presenters during 45-minute culinary demos. After the Chef creates a specialty dish in the show kitchen on stage, you’ll get to taste-test the dish while sipping an excellent paired wine. We review Chef Ming Tsai’s 2011 demo here!

New in 2012, for guests considering purchasing certain wines, there will be small tastings set up in the wine shop at select times.

Scent Demonstration
Join scent critic Chandler Burr for a unique double-culinary experience—a meal made entirely of scents! You’ll also get to taste one of the courses, prepared by a Disney chef. We review the 2011 Scent Demo here.

Note: You do NOT have to attend a culinary or beverage seminar or demo to meet and greet the Chef or beverage experts. However, you may need to arrive at the Festival Center early to get a wristband for popular meet & greets. On the day of your chosen chef’s demo, be sure to check in at the center to see if you’ll need a wristband.
Bottle Signings

Meet the winemaker and have your purchased bottle of wine autographed. This opportunity for a signed bottle makes a unique souvenir or gift. Please check the daily schedules for the most up-do-date info on presenters and their topics or visit the Festival Information Desk.
From Bean to Bar Chocolate Exhibit
A New in 2012 exhibit hosted by Ghirardelli will be revealed in the Festival Center this year. Including displays about how chocolate is made as well as chocolate sculptures from Disney chefs, this will be a fun way to pass the time while waiting for your upcoming events. There will be chocolate tastings available for a small fee.
HGTV Home Entertaining Seminars
HGTV will host home entertaining seminars once again!

Seasons of the Vine

Narrated by Jeremy Irons, experience a cinematic introduction to wine growing in a seven-minute presentation. The film will run continuous shows throughout the day.
Festival Center Café
Celebrate the start of a new Festival day or stop by in the evening as you wind down from the festivities. The cafe offers cheese and light snacks, along with a wonderful wine bar.
The Stockpot Shop
Commemorative your festival experience by stocking up on event posters, Festival cookbooks, and cooking gadgets. Don’t forget to grab a gift for a foodie friend! Before heading to a Meet and Greet, purchase your favorite chef’s cookbook and have it signed in person!
The Cellar
Over 300 wines are featured throughout the Festival, and you may have sampled a new favorite. Take home a bottle from a prestigious winery and even have it signed by your favorite vintner!
