As you know, we’ve just released our brand new The DFB Mini-Guide to Epcot Snacks, and we’ve got a special tip from the book today!
As many of you know, it can be difficult to decide how to get the best value with your Disney Dining Plan snack credits or vacation dollars while in Walt Disney World. And while you can get a Mickey Bar anywhere, some guests want a more unique treat.
Here’s where we com in! When visiting Epcot, Sunshine Seasons in The Land pavilion is a convenient location in Future World for a great snack. The restaurant is located downstairs — just steps from Soarin’ — and offers dozens of market-fresh treats and meals. One of our very favorites is this Strawberry Shortcake, which has quickly reached cult favorite status for repeat Disney guests!
Smooth, creamy whipped cream, decadent vanilla shortcake, and fresh strawberries make this snack an incredible value for the dollar — and it’s one-of-a-kind! These kinds of snacks are few and far between in Disney World! Big enough to split, and just $3.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit, it’s worth it (especially when you remember that you’re in Disney World and everything costs more there)!
We recommend this popular and delicious treat any time of the day — Sunshine Seasons is one of the only spots open for breakfast in Epcot, after all!
Read more about this Strawberry Shortcake — and many more Best Snack Values to enjoy while in Epcot — in our 180-page The DFB Mini-Guide to Epcot Snacks!

Just tried one of these for the first time last trip! They really are AMAZING!!!!! I loved how much of it was the whipped cream and strawberries. It all tasted super fresh as well :). For someone like me who isn’t a fan of the strawberry fillings and sauce that is great 🙂 Even though it is big and can be shared amongst 2 people it is also very light which I loved!

This is my absolute favorite snack at EPCOT. OMG!!! So so so good!!!! Yes even though you recommend sharing them… this is definitely something i won’t share. Ooh I can’t wait till May. This will be one of my first stops. Strawberries makes it okay to eat as breakfast, right? Yum!

Just recently went to Sunshine Seasons for the first time. I did not have the strawberry shortcake but the whole setup is excellent. Everyone can have what they like to eat and the cost is not as expensive as other locations. I will recommend this as an eating establishment in the future, also the strawberry shortcake.

I hav it for the first time in October. Jenny pointed out the key to it’s, and really most of Sunshine Seasons’, dishes: freshness. I’ve been to farmers markets that have had Strawberry Shortcakes that have been soggier and less fresh. It isn’t loaded done with a jam-like filling or syrup thats in some mass produced shortcakes, which helps assure the fresh taste. Without it the berries stay crisp and it keeps it not too sweet.
$3.99 is a great price.

We just returned from our first WDW trip last week. I used your suggestions on this blog for many many things. I actually ordered the strawberry shortcake when we were here and it is amazing. It is so fresh and pretty. Thanks for a great blog. Hope to go to Disney again in the near future.

I love strawberries. This picture is so pretty. We will be leaving for our trip soon. In the single digits of our countdown. I absolutely love your blog and read it before bed every night. I get so much education from your posts and other guests responses. Thank you everyone!

I love this dessert! Always have it after the great pork chop dinner. It is not very sweet or heavy; very light and tasty. I hope they never get rid of this winner!
