Thanks for the info! I’m hoping they do the same thing for December dates…as my family is traveling there in early December! YAY!

Won’t help me this year but that is ok as we will be there TOMORROW! WHOOOO!

That is a lot of exclaimation points!

But what does that mean foe DVC members? When will we get a “special offer” I think we’re more than loyal enough to deserve it 😉

First weekend of Food and Wine! Woot!
Joe Giumentaro says
Thanks to the DFB for posting the news.
I didn’t receive an e-mail from Disney Rewards until very late in the day. Oddly, even though I had already booked through 9/29, the e-mail I received stated the dates as 8/25 thru 9/27; obviously ending just prior to the Food & Wine Festival.

The expansion of the dining plan has freshened up using it. Over our last few visits we seem to keep eating the same meals over and over. We’ve missed some old favorite restaurants that will now be back in the rotation on our next visit. Good work Disney folks!
Renee says
Hi! What about October & November dates, when do those offers usually come out?
AJ says
Jessica — Yeah!!!
Joe — Thanks for the heads up! I’ll check out the date discrepancy.
Alan — Glad to hear it! What restaurants are back on the docket??
Renee — Looks like July is when it’s been announced previously. No guarantees, of course. 😉

I wonder what this means for Canadian guests. The free dining promotion has been very popular up here too, but the Disney Visa card is not available to Canadians.
The easy fix would be to make an exception for international guests. The more exciting fix would be to create a Disney Visa card for Canadian bankers, say with RBC or TD!

Aydin — Free dining has been available through September 2012 for Canadian guests for quite some time: http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2011/10/23/disney-world-free-dining-available-through-september-2012-for-international-guests/

My family and I are just watching the announcements daily, waiting on some November/December extension dates. I’m holding out faith that it will happen, because if and when it does, we can officially start planning our trip. If it doesn’t…may not get to go this year… :-/
AJ says
Fingers crossed, Jeff!

So many companies and other theme parks give discounts to AARP members.
Will The Disney Company do the same? A lot of “seniors” love attending WDW and cannot participate in many things, thus paying for something they cannot do.
