Wish they had this for September!!

Wow, what a great idea. Makes you wonder why they haven’t tried something like this a long time ago with each of the West Side restaurants.

Jenn — I know; I think I’d probably take advantage of it, too. Maybe it will be so popular that it will be a permanent thing. Would also be great if they’d do it with other restaurants.
Pudge — No kidding! I was thinking the same thing. Would love to do Raglan Road or Wolfgang Puck before the show as well.

What a great deal when you consider a meal alone at HOB for one person would run about 35-45 dollars for a meal ($20) drink ($3 – $5 for nonalcoholic) and dessert ($10). La Nouba is a great show (I’ve seen it twice) and there’s not a bad seat in the house! (except maybe the front row if you don’t like attention! Lol)

I’ve eaten at HOB since they last changed their menu in December and it is not as good. They got rid of a lot of the old favorites (no more Voodoo Shrimp, they changed the recipe for the infamous cornbread, etc). I think this “deal” is an attempt to get more people into HOB. I used to love HOB and had been going there for years. With the new menu change I won’t be anymore. There are better food options at DTD that offer better food for less $ (Wolfgang Puck Express anyone?). 🙂

That’s a 200 dollar date if you don’t drink anything but water. Plus tip. Then travel, after show drinks…you are looking at 300 bucks for a couple WITHOUT wine! Cocktails at the Disney area put another 100 bucks at least on the ticket. Yikes…
This is a tourist on vacation deal. Better off at a nice Winter Park restaurant, bottle of wine and maybe a film.
