After a short renovation, Downtown Disney’s centrally located UVA Bar, an extension of Catal, is back in biz with a fresh new look.
They were closed when I walked by, but I just had to snap a few photos for sharing! I love the bright colors and new seating. Can’t wait to try some of the new menu items as well.
Sign me up for some Fried Chicken and an Orange 50/50 Shake please!
The round booth style seats and long community-like tables are a fun addition!
I’m really looking forward to going back soon!
Have you visited the newly renovated UVA Bar? Do you go for the drinks or for the food???

We went to the Uva Bar the night it reopened to the public. The menu hasn’t changed much since before the refurb, but there were a couple of good improvements. I liked my Uva Mule, a muddled drink with vodka, ginger syrup, lime and mint. The ginger was almost overwhelming but I liked the bite. I think all the appetizers we tried were there before the update, but they were all still tasty.

I haven’t eaten there since it opened, and may not anytime soon. I think it’s a real loss getting rid of the TVs. UVA got a good crowd going when any games were on. That was the main draw for my boyfriend so we don’t have any big pull to go there now.

@Melissa Anna – I need to get over there. There are lots of things including the Milkshakes, that I want to try!
@Kristen – Bummer about the TV’s. I wonder if they will get lots of complaints about that?
@Nate – Sounds so good!

My husband and I went for drinks on the 13th of June. There was a healthy crowd with more people coming up to the bar where we sat. Good drinks and atmosphere. I thought it looked different since I last went in 2010, but I couldn’t put my finger on what.
