Happy 4th of July, everyone!! Today I wanted to share some wonderful Summertime treats in Disneyland. These are the perfect compliment to those hot, hot days…
Frozen Lemonade…and Then Some!
First up, I had to document for you one of my favorite Summer treats. We all love frozen lemonade — and you’ve probably seen it in pre-mixed strawberry or raspberry versions.
But what makes it awesome here is the option to add flavor shots while pouring the icy snack!

Recently, as I was wandering around Disneyland, I made my way back to Fantasyland and noticed a sign for frozen lemonade. Score!

But this wasn’t just any frozen lemonade. These lemonades were available with made-to-order flavor shots in either cherry or raspberry! The awesome Cast Member (shhh!) let me go behind the counter to get some great shots of her flavor shot technique.

The flavor of the cherry was delightful — the perfect combo of sour and sweet, with the tartness of both the cherry and the lemonade. It was also just plain fun to look at, like a groovy tie-dyed drink. Maybe they should add it to Fillmore’s in Cars Land! 🙂

Mango With Lime and Tajin
Another interesting find in Disneyland were these fresh mangoes with lime and tajin spice.
The lime and spicy tajin was a nice foil to the honey-sweet mango, and I could control the amount of tajin spice on my mango (unlike those mango paletas with chili at Epcot’s La Cantina de San Angel, which I wasn’t quite ready for).

While popcorn is ever-present on both coasts, I couldn’t help but show you this pic of everyone’s favorite treat with the monorail whizzing by! Fun pic, eh?

mmmm frozen lemonade is always a great drink to cool you down, I love it! BTW, I heard on a podcast (be our guest) that in the carsland area you can get different types of popcorn and that pickle popcorn (or dill I guess?) is one of the popular flavors. Have you tried this yet AJ? I personally LOVE pickles but I’m not too sure how I’d like it as a popcorn flavor. I’d love to hear your review of it if you get a chance!
