Woo! You know we like to keep you updated on all of the snacks in Disney parks, and we love when readers send pics and updates to us when they’re in Disney World and Disneyland!
Thanks to Susan T. (who also found the fabulously popular King Cupcake at Pop Century), we’ve got a review of a brand new one!
Spotted inside Epcot’s Land pavilion at the Sunshine Seasons food court was a pineapple coconut cupcake. What a fun, summery treat! (We’ve also seen a pineapple coconut cupcake earlier this year in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.)
Selling for $3.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit, this concoction has a creamy pineapple frosting, is topped with toasted coconut, and is garnished with 2 small pieces of fresh pineapple.
Susan informs us that it tastes like pineapple upside down cake, but with creamy frosting on top. She went on to tell us that “It was delicious! Both the frosting and cake parts have a strong pineapple flavor. I would definitely buy it again.”
Thanks to Susan, and to all of you who are on the look-out for new Disney treats — and for taste-testing them too! 😉
I can’t wait to try this new cupcake on my next visit! What new treats are you excited to sample?

This looks delish but I mourn the slow demise of the cupcake fillings.
They couldn’t put a coconut cream or pineapple jam filling? It made the cupcakes so much more special and surprising!
I am very very concerned that the filling-less cupcake is starting to become a trend in Disney….

I am super excited or this cupcake. I am a big fan of pineapple, and especially pineapple upside down cake, so this is right up my alley.
Wouldn’t it be cool if they had a millionaire pie cupcake?!
Chuck says
Big thumbs down on this. They got rid of the Pineapple Upside Down Cake and replaced it with a cupcake. It’s not the same thing.
