Disney’s Animal Kingdom is definitely one of my favorite theme parks. First of all, it’s gorgeous, and second, it’s fun to just walk around even if you don’t end up doing any of the main attractions. The themeing is out of this world, and it continues right down to the smallest detail…like the ice cream and soda-pop carts!
I’ve been collecting pics of the carts for a year or so, and I finally got them all into a post together. Let’s check ’em out…
Discovery Island
All trails lead to Discovery Island, the hub of the Animal Kingdom park.
The carts here reflect the bright colors and chunky design style of the Island’s merchandise locations. But they also carry a secret theme — the “Circle of Life!”
Splurge here and you’ll get a breathtaking view of the Tree of Life.
Dino Institute
While contemplating a trip back to the Cretaceous period, the Dino Institute’s cart is the place to fortify before escaping the hungry grips of a big ol’ dino (Look Out!!!).
Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama
This one is, hands down, my favorite.
The corny Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama area will test your skills on midway games, but it will also pack in some seriously fun, cheeky humor to your day at Animal Kingdom…you just have to know where to look!
Asia
In Asia, even the small vendor stands are exotic! Where else are you going to find a leopard — with his umbrella and briefcase — on his way to work?
Expedition Everest Area
Only the brave tackle Expedition Everest…after all, you may meet the Yeti! But you could also meet this guy…who apparently can eat four ice cream cones at a time. And that’s worth the risk.
Have you snagged photos of other Animal Kingdom treat carts? We’d love to see your pics!
What’s your favorite place for an ice cream treat at the Animal Kingdom?

I would have never see these because I wouldn’t have bothered to look. These are great! Thank you for sharing!

They say you eat with your eyes first. The artwork alone makes me hungry. Once again the attention to details makes the Disney parks and resorts into heaven on earth.

Isn’t there a leopard with an umbrella and a briefcase in It’s a Small World?
