Although I do prefer the ambiance of dinner at Club 33, one thing that dinner doesn’t offer is the dessert buffet. The desserts are so pretty that I couldn’t resist sharing some photos of them! Note that the dessert buffet changes up regularly.
This one was a must-try!
Although it would’ve been nice to spend the entire day sampling desserts, I did have to pick my son up from school by 2:00.
So I went for a sampler plate of a mini cherry pie, chocolate dipped brownie s’mores, a blueberry cheesecake pop, the Mickey Macaroon, mini chocolate lava cake, and the mini creme brulee.
I will say right now that my favorites were the mini cherry pie and the Mickey macaroon. The creme brulee was also awesome, but one bite and it was gone!
The mini cherry pie reminded me of the mini blueberry pie served at Hungry Bear it also reminded me of a Hostess Cherry Pie — tart, sweet and delicious!
I am big fan of macaroons, so the Mickey Macaroon was on my list before I even tasted it. Moist and chocolatey perfection.
Another hit at our table? The cheesecake pops. I’ve had cake pops before, but never a cheesecake pop, and I thought it was pretty clever!
They looked like mini “full” sized round cheesecakes on a stick. The fact that they were rolled in chocolate shavings gave them bonus points, too.
Inside was creamy cheesecake with a blueberry filling center. It was even lined with a graham cracker “crust.”
A chef friend of mine was dining with us on this visit, and after she took a bite of the chocolate dipped brownie s’mores she immediately texted her co-worker that they’d be soon coming up with a modified version of this dessert at their restaurant.
My suggestion? Figure out how to make the graham crackers stay crunchy! I did like the s’mores, but I think they’d be much better with fresh crispy graham crackers. The concept though, was creative and delicious.
A small chocolate brownie sandwiched with marshmallows between two graham crackers dipped in chocolate. Yum!
And finally I give you, the mini chocolate lava cake. This treat was pretty yummy: moist chocolate cake with a gooey chocolate center.
All in all, a pretty good spread if I do say so myself!
Which one would be your must-try? Let us know in the comments below!

Oh…my…goodness! It all looks amazing! But I’m with you, Heather. I would start with the Mickey Macaroons. They are good to begin with and on top of that…everything tastes better when shaped like Mickey Mouse! Have a Happy New Year!
Heather Sievers says
@Laura – Happy New Year to you too!

After years of yearning, I have finally found someone who can get me into Club 33… and this post made me even more excited to go! I had already decided we would go for lunch because of the buffet, but being a HUGE dessert person I now have a long list of things I must try! My husband and I get to go for our anniversary in April, and I cannot wait!! Thanks for all the great info!

Oh my!!! That dessert buffet looks fantastic. I knew Club 33 had a lunch buffet, but I didn’t know the extent of the dessert selection.
After seeing this review I sure hope my boss finds me a hook-up for March. Before I just wanted to go for the experience. Now I want to go for dessert!!

@Corey – I hope you get to go! Have a Mickey Macaroon for me!

I know this post is reaaaalllyyy old but I just stumbled upon it, and had to reply –
To get the grahams to stay crunchy, dip the bottom of each one in a thin layer of chocolate (to create a barrier of sorts from the brownie innards) then assemble the smore with the chocolate sides of the graham facing inwards.
