Three Must-Eat Disney Snacks for 2013
Now without further ado, here are three of our 11 must-eat snacks recommended for 2013!
Potato Leek Soup
At the new Be Our Guest Restaurant, jaws tend to drop when taking in the imagineering marvels. While enjoying the scenery, treat your taste buds to the Potato Leek Soup.
For the biggest bang for your buck – and a filling option – the rich and creamy Potato Leek Soup is satisfyingly thick with potato chunks and leeks. It’s an incredible flavor that can be easily enjoyed as a light meal or unique snack.
Served at both lunch and dinner, the soup makes an awesome savory snack choice. Note that it’s marked as a Disney Dining Plan snack credit during lunch, but we’re not sure if you can use a credit at dinner.
Chocolate Mickey Ganache
An incredible Landscape of Flavors creation (found at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort), this snack speaks to our sweet cravings.
The Chocolate Mickey Ganache includes a chocolatey crust is filled with gooey chocolate ganache in the shape of Mickey Mouse! A white chocolate Mickey face adds a familiar smile.
Cheesy Pesto Bread
Another Landscape of Flavors creation offers innovative eats that are just perfect for a mid-day munchie!
One of our top value finds for 2013, the Cheesy Pesto Bread is large enough for a meal or a shareable snack. We love the soft but crusty French bread, and these slices are uniquely topped with olive oil, pesto, and mozzarella cheese.
Broiled until bubbly then served with marinara for dipping, this menu item is prepared fresh. We deem this snack — worth the wait!
We have eight more must-eat snacks to try in 2013, and LOTS more snack recommendations — and they are shelved in our DFB Guide!
Now’s the time to order The DFB Guide to Walt Disney World® Dining 2013 for help with all of your Disney Dining concerns. We’ve taste-tested countless snacks and can help you make the best choices!

Just a note to West Coast visitors, I found the Chocolate Mickey Ganache at Disneyland on my last visit.
My snack choices are usually fresh fruit or popcorn 🙂

I had the Chocolate Mickey Ganache at Jolly Holiday Bakery in Disneyland last summer. I am glad to hear it is available on the East Coast now too! It was delicious.

Love ALL in information. We have reservations for Art of Animation in Sept. 2013 and we are looking forward to ALL the good food. I am waiting for the Fall Free Dining Plan. We always enjoy it so much. It really helps our family. This year there will be 9 of us coming. Thanks again for all your wonderful information.

Hi there! Love this site. Helped us alot when we were at Disney. Just got back and ready to go back already!
I wanted to tell you that we stayed at Art of Animation and the Landscape of Flavors did not disappoint. Our favorite place to eat was the Mongolian and Tandoori grill. The Naan is amazing. The Breakfast Sandwich was the family favorite in the mornings.
I wanted to let you know that we tried the pesto bread and it was just ok. Maybe because it was late at night? It was very greasy.
The chocolate ganache tart was delicious. I would definitely get that one again.
Michelle says
I had the mickey ganache at the 2011 Party for the Senses and it was amazing. I might have had two or three…. If you like sweets, do not pass this dessert up!!
