I’ll be publishing my FULL review of the brand new BoardWalk Bakery in Walt Disney World very soon, but I wanted to give you a little sneak peek of what’s coming!
I popped into the bakery around 7am Friday morning — opening day — to check out the digs…
The space has been greatly expanded, and now offers two entrances!
There’s one for guests waiting in line for food and pastries, and one for guests who just need to refill their refillable mugs!
Once inside, the queue line is quite long. It takes up half of the bakery space!
The stuff-your-face options have expanded greatly at the bakery. They now feature a strong set of hot breakfast and lunch items, soups, pastries, desserts, and more.
We’ll share lots of pictures, details, and info in our full review coming soon, but I HAD to share some pics of some of the goodies today…
THESE were heavenly! I have lots more pictures to show you of the caramel-y gorgeousness in the full review…
Even more incredible desserts have been added. You have been warned!
Can’t WAIT to share more!
OK, that’s just a little peek to whet your tastebuds for the full review!! See ya real soon…

Wow that sticky bun looks good. Can’t wait to hear more! I notice there are no DDP symbols on any of the items. Do you know if any were allowed as snack credits?

Cannot wait to try out breakfast and lunch offerings while my gf an I are staying at the Boardwalk Inn in October. The food looks delicious!

We’re staying at the Boardwalk, and I was very tempted to get down there for the ribbon cutting but 6:30 am was a little early for vacation. By 8:30, there was about a ten minute wait (the line moves fast), and we ordered the egg & biscuit sandwiches. SO delicious! The best biscuit I’ve ever eaten. Probably good this wasn’t open all week :), but what a great addition.

I’d love to know if they have gluten free options. Any idea?

Thank you for sharing! We stay at The Boardwalk Villas several times a year and are so excited to finally have an expanded bakery. We’ll be staying there again this week and cannot wait to check it out!

Do they have espresso at the bakery?

I was curious about Dining Plan eligibility myself, both snacks and the new lunch items as counter service. Thanks!

OMG that sticky bun reminds of a former bakery (Jenny Lee’s) in Pittsburgh, PA that sold the same exact bun but they called it a Pecan Roll. YUM! I’ll have to make it a priority to get to the Boardwalk on my next visit in October.

Talk about long over due. The Boardwalk is now complete!! I couldn’t be happier!!
