You had me at flying fish
Prof. Brainard says
I was hooked when I saw creation of kiln-dried fig on the “cheese as dessert” menu! If you’ve had kiln-dried fig, you will never go back to the regular dried fig or even to a fig in its natural state. All figs should spend some time in a kiln. I will eat them no other way! Move over pottery and make room for the figs! I don’t have the $165 per person to partake of such a decadent feast, though I might be tempted to try to sneak in through the back door and blend in with the crowd to get some of those figs!

So jealous of anyone who gets to eat the flying fish menu. First the menu sounds awesome but second OMG Copain. We visited there last fall and not only is it breathtakingly beautiful (we have a pic of the winery view in our living room) but the wines are amazing. Have a few bottles we’ve been saving for a rainy day so I just might need to play along and have one on the 31st.
