Yesterday, we took you on a little tour of the brand new L’Artisan des Glaces ice cream and sorbet shop in Epcot’s France!
Today, it’s time to check out one of the true indulgences offered at this decadent spot: the ice cream martini!
L’Artisan des Glaces Ice Cream Martini in Epcot’s France
On the menu at L’Artisan are 16 flavors of ice cream and sorbet, which you can order in cones or in cups.
But the most decadent item on the menu is the option to top your flavor choice with alcohol!
Guests can choose a topper of Grand Marnier, imported Rhum from Martinique, and Whipped Cream flavored Vodka!
On our visit, we chose to douse vanilla and chocolate ice creams with Grand Marnier!
The rich, creamy treat carried a zing of orange flavor and tasted exceptional!
Epcot’s France has all kinds of incredible eats — whether you’re indulging in Creme Brulee from Les Halles Bakery, a grown-up slushie at the Vins de France cart, crepes at the crepe stand — and this is just one more addition to a long list of must-eat snacks in the France pavilion!
I can’t wait to try more flavors and combinations! The options are endless!
Is the new Epcot ice cream and sorbet shop on your list? Would the alcohol-topped dessert be your choice? Let us know in the comments below!

Here’s the problem: Epcot keeps opening awesome looking little places like Tutto Gusto and Cava, the soon to be opened Spice Road and now this! How am I going to eat at all 30 plus F&W booths AND try all this new stuff???
Mary says
Oh I definitely want to try chocolate topped with Grand Marnier! I love the idea of orange liqueur infused chocolate ice cream! The chocolate/orange flavor combo is one of my favorites!
Deb says
I really wish I could go there tomorrow and not have to wait until the fall! in the meantime I’m going to get some Jeni’s Sea Salt Caramel ice cream and pour my whipped cream vodka on it! I cannot believe I never thought of that!
Rick says
@Deb – You should really try Haagen Dazs’ Sea Salt Caramel Gelato. I’ve tried numerous types of Sea Salt Caramel Gelato from the freezer, and this one is TOPS. So creamy, so delicious… it’s perfect. http://www.haagendazs.com/Products/Product/3789

Wow, I’d be hard pressed to know which fruit flavor of sorbet to pick. I’m not a drinker usually, so I didn’t realize that Grand Marnier was orange. Now, thanks toto this blog, I’d sure like to have one of those! Chocolate and orange is one of my favorite combos, too. Thanks DFB and Mary!

Please excuse me as I trot out my evil grammarian twin . . . The sign in the lavender frame is a hoot! “Choice of 10 ice creams or 6 sorbets in a waffle cone or cup.” I choose the ten ice creams in a waffle cone, thank you very much, though I fear I might have trouble balancing such a tower of extravagance!
Andrea says
Mmm. I think my FIRST order will be coffee and hazelnut ice cream with the whipped.
And then the next will be lemon and rum
Matt says
@Heather I’m going to have the same problem….
Becky says
@Rick – thanks. Will now be stopping at the grocery store on the way home to try to find that Haagen Dazs’ Sea Salt Caramel Gelato.
@Prof – Sound good to me.

Just what I need – another drink on my Epcot crawl. I’ll just have to start earlier in the day.

Had the coco-white chocolate and mixed berries with the whipped cream vodka and it was amazing! So good! Definitely a must when drinking around the world.

coming to Disney the last week of Oct. with friends ( all adults) can’t wait to come to France and try all the new drinks
Cathy says
The wild berry sorbet with the rum was A.MAZ.ING!!!! I agree with them adding too many choices at Epcot making it hard to try it all. I passed by the grey goose slushie stand for this but soooo worth it! 🙂

Coming to Disney after Halloween. I’m afraid to ride roller coasters but my family’s trying to get me to ride Big Thunder Mountain in Frontier Land. I know it only goes 35 miles an hour which is 1/2 the speed I drive my car but maybe after a few of these ice cream martini’s I’ll give it a go. I’ll let you know what happens.

We’re all adults too by the way 3 of which are seniors . Disney is perfect fun for all ages. We always stay in the park and enjoy 8 days of food & fun. That’s the only way to come to Walt Disney World.

If you really want to experience French arrogance and rudeness do visit L’Artisan des glaces.
Went there at 7pm wednesday September 21 2016 and the young short haired blonde really made a very good job in being rude and arrogant never again!!!

My plan for when I visit this summer is to try and transport a shot of that bitter Beverly beverage from Club Cool there and add it to mango/Grand Mariner or lemon/rum martini for a real adult tasting cocktail.
