What’s that trailer that you just spied as you’re about to hop onto Rock’n Roller Coaster? A radio station, ready to give you your big break?
Nah, it’s KRNR the Rock Station! Well, actually, it’s a food trailer with a really cool theme. (Can you spot the Hidden Mickey in the sign?)
Those of you who have ridden Rock n Roller Coaster, Starring Aerosmith, have heard the KRNR radio announcer loud and clear, so it’s a great themeing element in the RnRC “plaza.” And this is a great stop if you’re looking for some food on the go.
There are hot dogs and chips if you’re hungry, but the real story here are the frosty treats. KRNR has a full line of soft serve options, including waffle cones in vanilla, chocolate, or swirl. You can also get Coke Floats or Barq’s root beer floats. And there’s that guest favorite, Minute Maid frozen lemonade as well! Fruit smoothies made with nonfat yogurt are a slightly healthier option.
There’s an assortment of bottled drinks, including juices.
There are also a few varieties of chips if you’re looking for a side for your hot dog, or if you just need a salt fix.
To satisfy your hunger for something sweet and chewy, you’ll find huge, fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. The wrapping actually comes in handy if you want to eat some and save a bit for later.
But I was here to try a Smoothie for the first time!
I’ve heard these are really fantastic, and a great option if you’re looking for something refreshing with a little nutrition. Made with nonfat yogurt, they’re flavored with fruit. Choose from strawberry, banana, strawberry-banana, orange-pineapple, or mango.
I went for the orange-pineapple, a flavor combo that I love. It’s the perfect cross between the sweet, tropical flavor of the pineapple and the slightly sour, brightness of the orange. The yogurt adds a creaminess and makes this substantial enough to stand in for a light meal.
Try one for breakfast while you’re heading in to get your RnRC fastpass, or use it as a mid-afternoon snack between lunch and dinner.
After trying it, I’m hooked! And it’s available for a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan, so it’s like having an extra meal!
Which smoothie is your favorite at KRNR Rock Station? Tell us in the comments which one we should try next!

My husband and I were at WDW in February and stopped here for the exact same smoothie! We are huge smoothie fans and were very impressed with both flavor and consistency. There was no wait at all and the cast members even gave us a second one for free as part of the “Year of Surprises” promotion. It pretty much made our day.
