We did the Candlelight Dinner Package last December. We dined at Chefs de France, which was very good. There was a slight language barrier with the waiter but nothing major. I would recommend this restaurant.
The Candlelight Processional was the most wonderful thing we experienced during our December trip to Disney World. We had Jodi Benson as the celebrity narrator and she was fantastic.

I wouldn’t wait until the 9th. Periodically try the website prior because its been letting some go through.
AJ says
Scott — Thanks for the review!! So glad you enjoyed!
Jay — There was a glitch on July 5th and on July 1st I believe, for just an hour or two, that allowed some folks to book reservations. I doubt this will happen again, but you never know! If you’re very eager to get your preferred restaurant, it might help to stalk the website. 🙂
Ray says
Is this a CC hold or a charge? The last time we did the CP Dinner Package in 2011, we paid at the restaurant.
Paula says
Ray, I was wondering the same ING, and this is what I found on the WDW website: “Dining packages are paid for at the individual restaurant, where you’ll receive your Candlelight Seating badges for seating at the America Gardens Theatre for the booked showtime and for the Epcot fireworks show.”
Hope that helps….

Thanks Paula….yes it does.

What time on tues do the tickets go on sale?
AJ says
Perryplatypus — At 7am ET 🙂
perryplatypus says
Thanks AJ, Looks like it will be a very early Tuesday morning LOL
Jenn @ Fairest Run of All says
Oh, will you not be able to do it on the web at 6AM?
catherine says
Is Le Cellier really included for lunch, now that lunch is 2 DDP credits all the time? If so, everyone on DDP will want that one.
perryplatypus says
Just got off the phone with Disney Dinning and Le Cellier is not part of Candlelight this year and is not listed as one restaurants on the reservation website. What a bummer 🙁
Ray says
Good news and bad news….we got in, but not the show we wanted. Most of the 8:15 PM slots are taken (except Nine Dragons & Bietgarten). We did get an ADR for Marrakesh for the 6:45 show. Apparently it opened up online at 12:01 AM.
MeLissa Fetty says
Just an FYI, there are no packages available for the 5:00 show on Sunday, December 8. There is some sort of community showing at that time. It took the CM 40 minutes to figure it out, but she finally did.
AmyW says
Thanks a bunch MeLissa, you just saved me a ton of time. I’d hoped for that showing and have been frustrated most of the morning trying to get through on the phones and the website keeps spinning and spinning. I guess I’ll have to go with my second choice day. (And shuffle my other ADRs accordingly.)

Called this morning for December 6. Lunch at Via Napoli was open – PERFECT! We did La Hacienda last year, and it was wonderful, as well. There is nothing more beautiful than the CP followed by Illuminations with the holiday tag!
Christa says
AJ – the WDW site is no longer showing Neil Patrick Harris for 12/2-3. Could you find out what’s happening? I’m bummed as I booked my CP package for one of his nights.
Leslie says
I know I’m way late to this, but my family decided recently to make a WDW trip the weekend before Christmas, and I was able to get CP reservations for Via Napoli (yea!). Does anyone happen to know whether the full menu is available or if the CP package means a limited menu? When we did the Fantasmic package a couple year ago the menu at Brown Derby was limited, and I would have liked to have known ahead of time. Thanks!
