The wine dinner we attended in feb of 2012 was one of the top five dinners in my lifetime. Chef Tim presented each course and described its unique ingredients and why it paired well with the wine poured for that course. Amazing night!

Joanne — Thank you for your review! I think Flying Fish does such a fantastic job with these. I also like that they keep them very small.
Tim Cann says
AJ, thanks for the heads up on the Flying fish wine dinners during the food and wine festival. I just booked the Swhweiger dinner on 10/24, I also tried to book the Gems of France on 11/7 but it was full already.
AJ says
Tim Cann — You’re welcome! Congrats on getting the spot!

I just went poking around on the Dining Reservation site and found that you can now easily book the food and wine pairings that are held Sundays through Thursdays. Coming down from the frenzy of booking all my signature events this morning, I looked at the calendar for our trip and noticed horrible situation–no ADR’s on a Sunday! So, I looked back through the events list, didn’t really find anything enticing and decided to book my favorite restaurant, Flying Fish. There it was, the Food and Wine pairing as a dining option! Booked it.
