It’s time to take an ice cream break! And I know just the place — Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!
This cool spot offers up soft serve for guests who are looking for a little refreshment between attractions…but they have some other fun menu items too! Time to check it out.
Atmosphere
Auntie Gravity’s is located in that thoroughfare that meshes Fantasyland into Tomorrowland. You’ll find this little spot directly across from the Tomorrowland Speedway.
The signage with the name of the location hangs on the wall of the building — viewable only from the Fantasyland side.
So if you’re searching for Auntie Gravity’s and coming from Tomorrowland, keep a look out for the ginormous “Ice Cream and Smoothies” sign that hangs overtop both doors leading into the shop.
There’s not a lot of atmosphere to speak of in the small space! There’s just enough room for a few counter-service stands and a walk-up window to get your goodies.
Once you get your eats, you’ll head back outside to a group of tables just beyond the doorway. Keep on the look-out for PUSH, the talking trash can in this area! (You can also take advantage of indoor seating at Cosmic Rays, which is just next door.)
Eats
Auntie Gravity’s is purely a snack stop, so it’s great for a midday treat or after meal dessert most of the time. But one of the more unique options you’ll find here is the Iced Coffee Float, a fan favorite. I’ve only seen these at a few other locations, like Sunshine Tree Terrace.
The exception to the “find no meals here” rule is a line up of drinks and snacks that would make a suitable breakfast. You won’t find any bacon or sausage, but there’s an assortment of cereals, muffins, and whole fruit available. You can also opt for a smoothie in the a.m. — or anytime of the day, actually.
There’s a wide range of drinks, too, including fountain options and some that are bottled. Hot drink fans can choose from coffee, tea, and cocoa as well.
And it’s curious to note that the iced coffee is the same price as the iced coffee float. So I’m seriously trying to think of why in the world I wouldn’t opt in for the ice cream. 🙂
Ordering is straightforward; make your selections from the boards above, and then let the cashier know what you’d like. There are no self-service kiosks at this time. This futuristic ice cream shop is purely human powered!
Through the window, you can watch as your treat is made, but you can also take a look at the cool (pun intended) iced coffee and smoothie machines.
Smoothies are made with nonfat yogurt and come in an impressive array of flavors!
And this is where it gets kind of interesting and Jetsons-esque. Because smoothies magically appear with a push of a few buttons from this machine. Pretty cool!
The smoothies are very similar to what you’ll find at KRNR Rock Station in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Although there are plenty of intriguing options at Auntie Gravity’s, a classic Ice Cream Sundae with soft serve was calling to me. Back in college, I often indulged in a simple-but-awesome sundae of chocolate-vanilla soft serve topped with strawberry sauce. I know. Weird and kind of ugly. But so good!
I decided to re-live my youth and go for one of these again!
Other topping choices include caramel and hot fudge. Next time I may ask for a little hot fudge to be added to my strawberry sundae!
I took it to an umbrella-ed table, which provided the perfect people watching vantage point as guests hurried to and from surrounding attractions.
Overall
At first glance, you may not think that Aunty Gravity’s Galactic Goodies offers a lot. But when you’re overheated, dragging, and starving in the middle of Tomorrowland, you’ll be glad it’s there!

Looks interesting! Are the smoothies good? What I really want to know is, how do they compare with the smoothies at the Main Street Bakery Starbucks?

Ooh, allow me to formally request a review of one of those coffee floats! 😀

I worked at Auntie Gravity’s during my CP. Back then we only had 3 smoothies, floats, and sundaes. I have to make a stop there each time we visit.

I’ve walked past Auntie Gravity’s hundreds of times, I know exactly what and where it is, yet I can honestly say I’ve never once set foot in the place. I have no excuse. This will change depending on your answer to one question: do they have waffle cones?

We have stopped here many times for a refreshing break or light meal. The smoothies are wonderful! It is rarely a long wait because people seem to just walk past without realizing what it is.

We tried to get smoothies there when we visited a couple of weeks ago but both the smoothie machines were broken. We were told this after we used our snack credit and were waiting in line for them.

We stop here every time we visit MK now that we have a little guy. We get a nice plain ol’ vanilla soft serve & three spoons. :0) Even in the small cup, they fill it mile-high so there’s plenty to share. Cosmic Ray’s for lunch, snack at Auntie Gravity’s does a body good!
