We are on the hunt today for some refreshing snacks at Walt Disney World!
Fortunately, the parks host a wide range of places where you can score fresh fruit and veggies. When I’m in Magic Kingdom, I love to see what’s new at Liberty Square Market, and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a stop by Anaheim Produce will net you some good fresh finds.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, I head for Harambe Fruit Market!
Clearly we can see that this place is right up my alley — just look at their liberal use of exclamation points!!!!!! ;-D
Harambe Fruit Market offers a really good variety of fruit options — both whole and prepared. But they also have some choices for non fruit and veggie snackers, including Mickey Pretzels and my favorite, the Jalapeno Cheese Stuffed Pretzel.
And check it out — every single item on the menu is available for a Disney Dining Plan snack credit!
If you prefer it, you can also find Craisins — both plain with in trail mix. These are travel-friendly and long-lasting on really hot Orlando days.
Chips are available, too.
There are also plenty of fruit juices and smoothies on hand.
This is a great place to find your favorite Odwalla Juice or Smoothie!
If you prefer eating your fruit out of hand, you’ll find a good assortment of Apples, Bananas, and Oranges.
There are also seasonal fruits available. The day we visited, we saw Clementines and Strawberries.
And one of my very favorite fruit snacks are ice cold spears of fresh Pineapple!
If you like to have a little embellishment or variety with your snack, you might like to try the Apple Slices with Caramel Dip (yum!) or Mixed Fruit.
And I especially love this little pack of Mixed Fruit and Cheese for the extra punch of protein.
If you’re looking for something less sweet, there are also packs of Carrots and Celery that come with Ranch Dressing for dipping.
So whether you’re looking for a healthy snack to tide you over until the next meal, or you’d just like a more wholesome alternative to french fries, it’s awesome to know that Harambe Fruit Market is there with lots of fresh options for you.

My son picked up a peach here in August. While I was across the path getting a white elephant cupcake, I might add. Kids, go figure. You try to teach them right, but then fruit happens.

I always see this stand, but never get to stop. Ah well, maybe I’ll pick up a Mickey pretzel from here when I go in August (if my craving for a white elephant cupcake doesn’t get to me first).

My partner and I ALWAYS stop here when touring AK, such a delicious, fresh and refreshing change from the other (wonderful) offerings. The pineapple spear is unbeatable when strolling along in the sun taking in all the sounds. Really cleanses your mouth from all the fizzy pop and sweets. Such a cute stand too!

We stopped there for the first time just recently. Great selection of healthy finds. The little tables behind it were a nice place to take a break, eat app,es, pretzels, water, etc.

An apple, orange and pretzel, please, for a nice quick on the go lunch.

We love the fruit stands in the parks! At Harambe, we picked up the Odwalla Mango Tango smoothies for a quick lunch on a day when none of us were feeling up to a full meal. Here you find some of the most reasonably priced snacks at WDW, and definitely a break from too much fat, sugar, and salt.

Those apples with caramel… I know they’re JUST apples with caramel, but man they were amazing when I had them!
Ok, maybe the fact that I was on a bench in DHS counting down to Fantasmic helped…but they were the best apples with caramel I had ever had! 🙂 I look at them in that picture and just drool!
