Welp, we’re getting closer and closer to the newest restaurant in Epcot! The gorgeous Spice Road Table signage was spotted by DFB roving reporter Wendy this week!
Check out the colors and iron scroll work!
What’s Spice Road Table, you ask? You’ll remember that waaaaay back in 2012, DFB broke the exclusive news that a new restaurant would be opening in Epcot’s Morocco pavilion!
And, as we confirmed, Spice Road Table is opening soon!
The small plates restaurant-on-the-water will highlight regional flavors from the Mediterranean. Dishes will include harissa chicken, a Mediterranean omelet, mussels, jumbo shrimp, and more.
There will also be a series of shops to browse while you work off your meal!
This restaurant joins the quick-service Tangierine Café and table-service Restaurant Marrakesh in Epcot’s Morocco pavilion very soon. We’ll be back ASAP with details on Tables in Wonderland, Disney Dining Plan, opening dates, reservation information for this newcomer!
Will you include Spice Road Table in your next Disney trip? Let us know in the comments below!

I love Tapas/small plates restaurants, so I think it will be fun. Always good to have a new option.

I like that they’ve incorporated the gift shoppe and given The Art of Henna a proper space. Do I spy a walk up window as well?

So looking forward to visiting Spice Road Table! Morocco is my favorite pavilion for meals (my second favorite is Norway — I have broad tastes), so this new addition just makes a good thing better!

I keep checking to see if they will announce the opening dates. I hope they will take ADRs and DDP because my girlfriends and I would really like to try this place out when we are down for the Princess 1/2 Weekend. 😀

My family is heading to WDW in February, and we have been hoping Spice Road Table will be open. We’ve been checking Disney Dining reservations weekly. It looks like a lovely dining option, and your info has us hopeful it will, indeed, be open when we are there. Can’t wait!

We will be there in July and are looking forward to dining and checking out the shops.

I had a “light” lunch at the outside tables.
The table for two (which was located outside) was not very comfortable for me.
I could not fit my legs under the table and I sat side-saddle for my meal.
The music playing was a bit loud and repeated a lot.
The red wine flight was a good sampler.
I asked to see each bottle and was given that request.
The Mogador sampler; the mussels were spicy and stringy, the calamari and cod was good with the asked for sauce.
Overall, the food is as said in the report, the wine was quite good, the service OK, and the meal does add up including an extra beer after the mussels.
