Merry Christmas from DFB! It’s the most wonderful time of the year at Walt Disney World… and we’ve got the goodies to prove it!
Just take a look at some of your favorite snack stops around the World! From Magic Kingdom’s Big Top Treats and Main Street’s Confectionary, to Downtown Disney’s Candy Cauldron and Goofy’s Candy Company, to Sweet Spells at Hollywood Studios… signs of the season are everywhere :).
I’m loving these gorgeous Candy Apples, created to look like ornaments!
The merry Mickey and Minnie Candy Apples are back this year, too, as is the Snowman.
Krispy Treats take a festive turn with Santa Hats… and how cute are the glittering marshmallow pom-poms?
Even the pretzel rods and a few of the marshmallow wands have a touch of holiday spirit!
The Cake Pop trend shows no signs of slowing down. Snowmen and Reindeer Cake Pops steal the show this year.
(By the way, does anybody else find the Reindeer Cake Pops to be cute, yet just a tad unnerving? All those EYES!)
What’s a holiday at Disney World without cupcakes? The Santa Cupcakes you’ll find in these spots are primarily vanilla and chocolate, but we’re glad to see the return of the Gingerbread Cupcake at Hollywood Studios!
Over at Writer’s Stop, the Mickey Macaroons and Sugar Cookies have received red-and-green makeovers… the perfect snacks to snag before being dazzled by The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights!
While you’re at it, you may want to grab some Egg Nog to go along with your treat. It comes “spiced” (with alcohol) or not-so-much ;). You can find it at the snack stand right near Youse Guys Moychindise right in the midst of all the dancing lights action.
This stand also features more wonderfully decorated Krispy Treats and Sugar Cookies.
And it’s one of several homes throughout the Parks to the Santa Mickey Popcorn Bucket!
Have a very, very happy Christmas!!

Hi,
My future husband and I will be going to Disney World for our honeymoon around this time of year and we are going to do the dining plan. I was just wondering, if you purchase a souvenir popcorn bucket, can you use a snack credit to get it refilled? Thank you!

I had the gingerbread cupcake at Hollywood Studios last week. I wasn’t sure how much I even liked gingerbread, but I tried it as an alternative to chocolate cake, which I’d had my limit of.
The gingerbread cupcake was ah-mazing! Moist, not too gingerbread-y, and the icing was perfect. Tasted like cream cheese, light, creamy, yet I’m sure it was buttercream. Not gritty at all though as some are. Perfect!

To Jennifer C. Z.,
The souvenir buckets don’t count as a dining plan snack credit. You just get the paper container. I tried last week. I asked if I could use my snack credit and pay the difference for the bucket, but they won’t allow that either. Hope that helps.
