The 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival seminars and demonstrations, book signings, chef meet and greets, and more offer a great way to enhance your Festival experience!

These events are low in cost (some are even free!) and are held at the Festival Welcome Center in Epcot’s Future World (the old Wonders of Life Pavilion).

Epcot Food and Wine Festival Culinary Demos, Beverage Seminars, and Mixology Seminars

Dates, chefs, and all details are currently out for Disney’s Culinary Demos, Mixology Seminars, and Beverage Seminars at this year’s festival!

Booking for Tables in Wonderland members, Annual Passholders, DVC members, and Golden Oak residents begins July 25th at 9AM ET for seminars and demonstrations (including Mixology). Note that some guests had luck booking select special events last year during these early booking dates; your mileage may vary. Discounts ($2) will be offered for seminars and demonstrations Monday through Thursday only.

Booking for Chase Disney Visa Cardholders begins on July 29th at 7AM ET. Call 407-WDW-FEST to book.

Booking for all other events, and for the general public, will begin July 31st at 7AM ET. Call 407-WDW-FEST to book. Booking for seminars, demos, and some special events will be available at epcotfoodfestival.com.

FESTIVAL WELCOME CENTER EVENTS

Culinary Demonstrations

When: Daily, 1PM, 3PM, and 5PM
Price: $15 per person, tax included. Epcot admission required.
Where: Festival Welcome Center, Chef’s Showcase

Culinary Demos offer an exciting opportunity to watch chefs — including some well-known personalities! — create dishes of their own in a show kitchen. Guests get to taste the final product, along with a paired wine. Pick up some tips in these 45-minute sessions!

Mixology Seminars

When: Daily, 6PM
Price: $15 per person, tax included. Epcot admission required.
Where: Festival Welcome Center, Vineyard Stage

Mixology Seminars offer guests the chance to learn more about the trendy art of drink mixology. Each seminar is sponsored by a particular alcohol brand, so the drink recipes will include that particular brand name’s products. Sample the concoctions!

Wine and Beverage Seminars

When: Daily, 12PM, 2PM, and 4PM
Price: $15 per person, tax included. Epcot admission required.
Where: Festival Welcome Center, Vineyard Stage

Beverage Seminars are also sponsored by particular beverage companies, but they focus on the raw product rather than mixed drinks. Meet a featured winery principal or beverage expert. Have fun learning tips and of course, sample the selected libation!

Chat with celebrated authors and/or personalities! Don’t forget to bring your purchased merchandise for autographs. Please check the daily schedules for the latest information. For more details, visit the Festival Center Information Desk.

Note: You do NOT have to attend a culinary or beverage seminar or demo to participate in these meet and greet opportunities with chefs and beverage experts. However, you may need to arrive at the Festival Welcome Center early to get a wristband for meet and greets with well-known personalities. On the day of your chosen chef’s demo, be sure to check in at the center to see if you’ll need a wristband.

Bottle Signings

Meet the winemaker and have your purchased bottle of wine autographed for a unique souvenir or gift. Please check the daily schedules for the most up-to-date info on presenters and their topics or visit the Festival Center Information Desk.

The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to the Bar

*Included with Epcot admission
When: 9AM – Park Close

Returning in 2014, this exhibit hosted by Ghirardelli Chocolate Company will be held in the Festival Welcome Center. This exhibit will include displays about how chocolate is made as well as chocolate sculptures from Disney pastry chefs. It’s a fun way to pass the time while waiting for your upcoming events. There will also be chocolate items available for purchase, including one of our favorites, Gourmet Drinking Chocolate! Plus, sample chocolates, select a wine and chocolate pairing, and shop for a bag of your favorite Ghirardelli Gourmet Chocolates.

New for 2014! Back to Basics Seminars

Turn ho-hum into YUM YUM! Back to Basics offers epicurean tips and tricks from the pros that may seem simple but can have a profound effect on your next dinner party.

Intermissions Café

Celebrate the start of a new Festival day or stop by in the evening as you wind down from the festivities. The cafe offers cheese, sandwiches, and salads, along wine and beer selections.

The Stockpot Shop

Commemorate your Festival experience with a host of fun souvenirs. You’ll find event posters, Festival cookbooks, and cooking wares, in addition to t-shirts and other items. Don’t forget to grab a gift for a foodie friend! You can also purchase cookbooks here to have autographed during Chef Meet and Greets!

The Festival Wine Shop

Hundreds of wines, spirits, and beer will be featured, and you may have sampled a new favorite during the festival. Take home a bottle from a prestigious winery and even have it signed by your favorite vintner!
