More About the World Showcase Kiosks
Set up around the World Showcase, over individual kiosks will offer regional and national delicacies to sample and taste. Small plates and beverages were priced in 2013 between $3-$8 and most give guests the chance to try specialty recipes from International locations!
Patagonia will make its debut in 2014, featuring flavors from Argentina and Chile, like sustainable roasted Verlasso salmon, quinoa salad and arugula chimichurri.
Also returning this year will be the Brazil booth, bringing back the Crispy Pork Belly with Black Beans, Onions, and Cilantro, and introducing Moqueca de Pescado — a fresh tilapia dish featuring coconut lime sauce and steamed rice.
A new Farm Fresh marketplace will replace Florida Fresh, bringing with it a “Bacon and Eggs” dish featuring applewood-smoked, pepper-coated bacon, sweet corn, potatoes, Hollandaise, and pickled jalapeños.
This year’s France booth will bring with it a menu change, including an updated slush (featuring Passion Fruit flavors!) and an updated Tartlette aux Escargots — an tart of Escargot, Garlic, Spinach, Bacon, and Parmesan!
Canada is an extremely popular stop at the festival. This kiosk will likely serve up the delectable cheddar cheese soup again. It’s not-to-be missed!
Fun cast members make your culinary journey truly memorable!
Morocco will serve up their fantastic Baklava!
Mexico is a lively stop every year – with great food and drinks. Margaritas!
Menu Pricing
2014 prices for most dishes are in the $3 – $8 range. Don’t forget that many of these are available for a Disney Dining Plan snack credit! That’s a great value!
We will have more information for you about pricing and which items will be available for a Disney Dining Snack Credit soon!
In 2013, beer was $3 – $10 for 6-12 oz. options. Most wines were $2.50 – $4.75 and mixed drinks averaged $7 – $9.
Payment Options
Ready to order? The Marketplace booths accept many forms of payment, including: cash, credit card, Key to the World card (with room charging privileges), Disney gift card, and Disney Visa reward dollars.
In addition, don’t forget that you can use your Disney Dining Plan snack credits. When doing so, you’ll get the best value by purchasing the most expensive DDP snack eligible items with your DDP and then, paying out-of-pocket for less expensive items.
A convenient method of payment is the Epcot Food and Wine Festival gift card. Load it up, and you’re on your way. There’s even a convenient wrist card that helps you keep your hands free for plates and wine glasses! Purchase yours at Epcot’s Main Entrance ticket booths, Guest Relations, or at select merchandise locations.
As you make your journey through the marketplace booths, look for new tastes to try and of course, stop for old favorites (Canada’s Cheddar Cheese Soup, hopefully!).
