We’re huge fans of the Contempo Cafe at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
After all, their bakery case features some truly unique gourmet cupcakes (Dulce de Leche, for one!).
My good friend, Elantrice — many of you know her as Diz Thru Brown Eyes — recently discovered the Frost Cupcake; clearly inspired by Disney’s award-winning “Frozen”.
Before we dig in — check out the icy blue frosting and snowy sprinkles!
“It was wonderful. Cake was moist and I loved the caramel inside,” she said! (I love the reminder that the plastic ring is non-edible!)
Choose from a selection of “non-edible” souvenir snowflake rings depicting characters from the animated film.
The Frost Cupcake sells for $4.15 and will only be around for a limited time! Snag yours quickly!

Darn it; It’ll be long gone before I ever get near WDW, but if I was there…Oh Boy! Moist chocolate cake, butter cream icing and a caramel filling? I would love to have one and I’d either pick the reindeer or the snowman ring; it’s really cute with the snowflake sprinkles, too! It’s a tease, but thankls for sharing!

So cute! Before I read the review, I was thinking it was going to be the cool mint flavor that my son loved so much! We certainly wouldn’t be disappointed with chocolate and caramel though!!

We were at BLT from Dec 31st to jan 12th. Ate most breakfasts and the odd late snack at Contempo. Great cupcake, and great food in general.

I hope it is still there when we go in early February! I would have some very happy granddaughters. And one happy grandma!

I hear that Frozen is shaping up to be the most successful Disney movie ever (it really is very good); maybe they’ll end up keeping the cupcakes longer. 🙂

Went there and got one and then went back the next day and they are out of rings! They didn’t seem to think it was a big deal. WELL IT IS! LOL! I wanted a Sven or Olaf ring. Still bought the cupcake but it wasn’t the same!

I would have preferred an edible “ring” so I wouldn’t have cared about there not being a ring.
I loved Frozen. The kids where I work loudly sing “Let It Go” on the playground. I try to join in 😉 .
