Counter Service Restaurants
Let’s dig in to the comprehensive listing of counter service restaurants that we’ve included in the DFB Guide to share with you our opinions of quick service spots.
And our reviews are completely honest. We’ve had some less than stellar eats at Electric Umbrella in Epcot, however in our mini-review, we acknowledge that the Vegetarian Flatbread was a hit. And we’d definitely return for another one!
Snack Kiosks
When you’re busy touring Walt Disney world and need a quick snack (yes, it happens to us, too!), choosing the right pick-me-up is key. Don’t waste your precious vacation dollars on treats that don’t measure up.
We recommend sweets as well as healthy choices. We don’t want you to miss the best menu items — like the Falafel Sandwich at Mr. Kamal’s in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Tip: Street food makes a delicious meal! In our mini-reviews, we suggest a Baked Potato in the Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square Market.
Table Service Restaurants
When you need to know which restaurants we recommend for Advance Dining Reservations (or those locations where you just might be able to get walk-in availability), our mini-reviews will lead you to the best meals.
Discover which meal has the best quality, our suggested menu items, and restaurants with interesting views. If we think there’s a better seat in the house, we let you know! After all, the kids will likely want to sit near the aquarium window at Epcot’s Coral Reef Restaurant, so arrive early and put in your request.
Tip: Not all buffets are created equal. Find out which ones we find to have the best food quality, character interaction, and atmosphere!
Snack Shops
Walt Disney World is a mecca of shopping temptations — and we especially love the stores that feature awesome treats! Yes, we cover the snacks at places such as Goofy’s Candy Company at Downtown Disney and the Main Street Confectionery in the Magic Kingdom in our 2014 Guide!

I really need to finally stop by Goofy’s Candy Company. I’ve walked by so many times and planned on stopping but just haven’t. Some many good sweet things inside. 🙂
