Halloween? Come on. I was considering making a trip down with my brother just for this event, but we both have kids and would like to take them trick or treating.
Lori says
DOH! every year I somehow miss this event! We are going to be in disney 10/17 – 10/26. Darn. Usually we are there for halloween too! and Mark D. bring the kids for trick or treating!! Mickey’s not so scary halloween party is a blast- expensive, but a blast! 🙂

Gotta say my wife and I were not real impressed with this event. Food was ok, not great, and of course by the end of the event, when all the alkys had their fill, the obnoxiousness came out in all of them. You know the old saying, instant a**hole, just add alcohol.
Logan says
We did the Beer Please! seminar last year and it was *excellent*. Very well done, very good beer and nibbles to match. A shame we won’t be there at that time this year!
Scott says
Missed it last year. Was at the first 2 years. Cant wait to go back this year but I am a bit concerned about how much the price has increased over the years. I think the first year it was around 60/person and that included a seminar and now this year its over 100 if you want the beer garden experience and for a limited wine drinker like me the beer garden is a no brainer.
Scott says
oops I meant i was at the 1st 3 years
Randy says
I hAve plans to be there Columbus Day weekend since this event has been held this weekend the past. Sorry I will miss it due to the change in dates.
Joni says
I’ve hear that the wine far out numbers the food. Are there plenty of tables or are you standing around in the humidity with cup and plate trying to balance and eat? I remember the first year 60.00 not bad but $108.26 whew. Would like it to be reasonable to attend and if you want to add on the seminars etc fine. How’s the entertainment?
Mark D. says
Lori – Unfortunately that would take the trip from a quick weekend splurge to a big expensive family vacation.
Sandra says
Just wondering if you do the beer garden does that prive include the whole thing?
Sandra says
If you do the beer garden does that price include the whole experience? or do you have to pay for both events?

My daughter and I have been wanted to try this event but have never been at Disney at the right time. But this year we will, so can’t wait to try it out!
Tina says
Last year was the first time my husband, adult daughter, & I went to the causeway event, although not our first at Food & Wine. We found the causeway event to be crowded with long lines and people who had way too much wine. The music and conversation we so loud that we had to yell to communicate. Food & Wine = Great. Causeway Event = Not worth the ticket.

First year to the Swan & Dolphin festival and we’re already booked at the Swan for 3 nights. Anyone thinking of wearing a costume on Friday? It is, after all, Halloween. LOL
Looking forward to it and to Epcot as well. In the past, we’ve enjoyed the Sushi and Sake pairings at Epcot and the Italian paring was fab. This year we hope to make Parisian breakfast and perhaps another pairing if there’s one on Monday. Can’t wait. Are we there yet?

My husband and I married at Disney, and I am desperately trying to buy a durand champagne flute from this event with the dolphin image on it. I will pay top dollar. Is anyone willing to sell me one please? I bought one off eBay but cannot find a match. I can pay immediately through paypal. [email protected]
Dominic says
Love the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot. Details seem sketchy on Swan and Dolphin causeway event. Stay at those two hotels and like them a lot. Can you purchase food and wine ala cart like at Epcot or must you purchase a ticket which gives you unlimited food and wine?
AJ says
Dominic — You can purchase a la carte via a ticket system. Just purchase the number of tickets you want at the beginning, and use them throughout the night.
