We’ve been touring the 2014 Epcot Flower and Garden Festival all day, indulging in the gorgeous views and good eats! See the full menus for this year’s booths here!
As many of you remember, the Flower and Garden Festival added multiple food booths to its offerings last year. They’re all back this year — including one extra addition — to tempt the tastebuds of Springtime visitors to Epcot this time around!
We’ll have a full review of ALL the goodies for you tomorrow, but let’s take a peek at some of the must-try items this year!
Sweet Potato Cinnamon Waffle with Dole Whip at Pineapple Promenade
This awesome combo of sweet potato waffle and everyone’s favorite pineapple deliciousness is a must-try for Epcot guests. We were really surprised how much we enjoyed the cinnamon + pineapple combo!
Find it at the Pineapple Promenade booth at the front of the World Showcase!
Piggylicious Cupcake at The Smokehouse
If you woke up this morning thinking you should really have bacon AND cupcakes for breakfast, well, we’ve got the ticket! Just head over to the Smokehouse booth!
This Piggylicious cupcake gives you a bacon cupcake topped with maple frosting AND pretzels! Where do the pretzels come from? Who cares? Yum. Our team says the cake has lots of salty, smoky bacon; and the cake base is less sweet than normal yellow cake.
The maple frosting is much better than we expected, and altogether, this treat really works! Pancakes and bacon in a cupcake? Shore!!
Kumquat Pie at Florida Fresh
New at the Florida Fresh booth this year, guests can partake in a Kumquat Pie!
We found the texture a little grainy, but the flavors are all there! The toasted meringue at the top adds a fun sweetness to the tart filling.
Spiked Dole Whips at Pineapple Promenade
Yep — the spiked Dole Whip is back in Epcot this year! Now you can try your pineappley favorite with rum OR coconut liqueur at Pineapple Promenade!
Oddly, the menu doesn’t SAY Dole Whip. It says “pineapple soft serve.” I wonder if there’s a trademark issue? Hmm… Either way — you gotta try it! Where else can you indulge in an iconic Disney treat — WITH alcohol — in the shadow of Spaceship Earth??
Ghost Pepper Dusted Tilapia at Urban Farm Eats
This brand new booth sports lots of delicious offerings, but we especially loved this tilapia dusted with the mother of all peppers! Seriously, you’ve seen Man v. Food eat ghost pepper-ified stuff before, right? That’s some serious hotness! (The ghost peppers…of course…I wasn’t talking about Adam Richman’s adorable self, no sir.)
Well, you, too, can be a food warrior and tell all your friends YOU ate ghost peppers once you order this dish. ‘Cause you did. Kind of.
By the way, this is technically called: Ghost pepper-dusted tilapia with crisp winter melon slaw and mint oil featuring The Original Sauce Man’s Kick It Up Rub.
Vegetable Spring Rolls and Dipping Sauce in China
Every once in a while you find something that you want to keep eating…even when you’re so full you can barely breathe! Well, our team went overboard with these!
Another veggie treat that we give two thumbs up at this year’s festival! Find them a the China Booth!
Confit de Canard, Pommes de Terre Sarladaise – Pulled Duck Confit with Garlic and Parsley Potatoes in France
This received RAVE reviews from our team, and we had to tell you about it! You know how much I love Confit ANYTHING, right? And how much I love duck ANYTHING? Well, pair all of this with garlic potatoes and you’ve got a winner winner…duck…dinner.
Just get it. At the France Booth.
Quesadilla de Hongos con Queso and Franbuesa (Raspberry) Margarita on the Rocks at the Mexico Jardin de Fiestas
Ready for a vegetarian treat that’s just…awesome?!? High tail it over to the Mexico booth for the Quesadilla de hongos con queso and the Raspberry Margarita!
While this booth offers a yummy taco as well, we thought this combo was really fun! Isn’t that margarita gorgeous?!?
Whew!! Ready to go???
Oh, and just for you Duffy-philes…

I loved the watermelon salad last year & can’t wait to try it again. I want to try the tilapia but am a little scared of the ghost pepper. Curious how hot it is.

I’m so excited, only 8 weeks until we get to try all of these. Looking forward to an alcoholic Dole Whip.

Er – if the question of the day is, “is Adam Richman hot?”, then I have to answer YES! You can keep your fishy ghosty peppery thing!
Ahem. Sorry about that.
Well, we will miss all of these lovely goodies in the Flower & Garden Festival, but will look forward to maybe seeing some of them at the Food & Wine Festival in November! (And the Duffy Gnome is way cute!)
