Today, we’ve got updates on special events, Eat to the Beat Concerts, new and returning booths and menus, and more! Let’s go…
Patagonia Booth Debuts; Brazil Booth and Farm Fresh Marketplace Return!
We’re excited to report that a new Patagonia booth will be debuting at the 2014 Festival! And returning will be the Brazil Booth and a new Florida Fresh Marketplace booth — along with over 25 others!
Epcot Food and Wine Festival Patagonia Booth
I know what you’re thinking. What? Patagonia? Like the outdoor clothing brand? (OK, maybe you aren’t thinking that, but I sure was.) Anyway, Patagonia will feature flavors from Argentina and Chile, like sustainable roasted Verlasso salmon, quinoa salad and arugula chimichurri. Will this mean that the Argentina and Chile booths will disappear? Only time will tell… .
Epcot Food and Wine Festival Brazil Booth
Back again this year, the Brazil booth will introduce guests to the Moqueca de Pescado — a fresh tilapia dish featuring coconut lime sauce and steamed rice.
Here are our pics and review from the 2013 Brazil Booth; and though Disney says the menu will be totally new, I’m hoping they bring back the frozen Caipirinha!
Epcot Food and Wine Festival Farm Fresh Marketplace Booth
The Farm Fresh Marketplace will replace the Florida Fresh booth. At Farm Fresh, guests will be treated to a new “Bacon and Eggs” dish featuring applewood-smoked, pepper-coated bacon, sweet corn, potatoes, Hollandaise, and pickled jalapeños!!!
Eat to the Beat Concerts
Brand new bands
will debut this year at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival Eat to the Beat Concerts! Check out all of the confirmed 2014 Eat to the Beat Concert Dates here!
New to the festival this year include Jo Dee Messina (Sept. 19-21), Fuel (Oct. 9-10), and Los Lonely Boys (Oct. 25-26)! Rick Springfield is back!!
Celebrity Chefs are Back
Don’t forget to plan time to see your favorites this year! Returning and debuting are Chefs Warren Brown, Rock Harper, Jennifer Hill Booker, Erika Davis, Paula DaSilva, Gale Gand, Dana Herbert, Jamie Deen, Jerome Brown, Dean Max, “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro, Allen Susser, Duskie Estes and John Stewart…among others!
You’ll be able to see these fan favorites at culinary seminars and special events throughout the Festival. Stay tuned to the 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Page for details on dates and booking information.
Special Events
Great news! Party for the Senses grand tasting events return again this year on select Saturday nights.
New this year will be a dinner showcasing Walt Disney’s culinary predilections, a foodie “Boot Camp Series” (this will include epicurean experiences for your “inner chef”) and a Friday morning celebrity chef nosh-and-chat cookbook event, “Food for Thought.”
Sweet Sundays will be reinvented this year as “Sunday Mornings with…” — a plated brunch starring an acclaimed pastry chef or baker crafting three favorite desserts for sampling. You can see our review of the Sweet Sundays here!
Back again this year as well is the Parisian Breakfast! YAY!! See our review here.
Booking for these special events will begin in August (guests will be able to call 407/WDW-FEST (939-3378) to make reservations, and usually there are some available online as well). Be sure to join our DFB Newsletter and follow our Epcot Food and Wine Festival Fans facebook page to get the details FIRST!
The free Marketplace Discovery Passport will also return this year. Be sure to get your stamps at each international marketplace!
And we’re excited to announce that the CRANBERRY BOG WILL BE BACK!!! Yep — Ocean Spray is bringing back that sea of red in the middle of Epcot for the fourth year in a row. Can’t wait!
Free with Epcot admission will be the Festival Center Back to Basics series (my guess is that this is a re-naming of the standard free seminars at the center), special book signings, Eat to the Beat concerts, cultural adventures, Marketplace Discovery Passport and all attractions and park entertainment.

Clarissa says
On one hand, I can’t wait! My Disney trip is planned to be at the the time of this event, and I couldn’t be more excited (Buddy Valastro? I’m a huge cake boss fan! Couldn’t be happier!)
On the other hand, I’m only slightly annoyed that they called the dish “Moqueca de Pescado”. Pescado is spanish for fish, it should be called “Moqueca de Peixe”. Still, as a Brazilian, I would love to see if the food of the BR booth is up to par ;D
Joe G. says
I hope they don’t take away that delicious pork belly dish.
Maggie says
Arugula chimichurri, that sounds awesome! Can’w wait to try that
Tuni says
I don’t know who got it wrong, but the brazilian fish dish is called Moqueca, not Mocequa hahaha Yeah, portuguese is tricky 😉
Lucy says
I don’t know if the official release from Disney is wrong or if every blog decided to misspelled moqueca, but MOCEQUA doesn’t exist guys!
Matt says
My wife will not be happy is there’s no Argentina Beef Skewer with Chimichurri.
and I will not be happy without PORK BELLY!!
Gonna have to wait and see..
JoAnn says
Can’t wait to see more. I have a whole week of F&W this year.
brittney says
I hope Brazil’s pork belly dish comes back. mmmmm.
CHRISTINE says

Brooke says
Christine — Menus for the 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival haven’t been released yet, but we’ll have them for you as soon as they are! Stay tuned! 😀
Patti says
Hi,
Do you know if the Annual Passholders will again be allowed to sign up 3 days before the usual sign-up date?
This has been true for at least the last 2 years and is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Patti :o))
AJ says
Patti — We won’t know this until Disney announces the dates for registration. We’ll get the news to you ASAP when we get it.
Meghan says
The festival is all week long, right? It’s not just on the weekends.
AJ says
Meghan — Yes. The Food and Wine Festival takes place each day from September 19-November 10, 2014, but various events happen throughout that time. The Marketplace Booths will be available each day, however.
