The Marketplace Co-op just opened on Friday in Downtown Disney in Disney World, and if you’re looking for items to add to your Disney dream kitchen, your search may be over.
When we got a glimpse of some of the merchandise earlier this year, we thought, “Okay, this could be pretty cool.”
As it turns out… it is COMPLETELY cool!
The Marketplace Co-op is six separate “boutiques” housed inside of what once was one large store (formerly Team Mickey): Beautifully Disney, D-Tech On Demand, The Trophy Room, Cherry Tree Lane, Zoey and Pickles, and Disney Centerpiece.
The space for each section is not huge… but you will not believe the amount of fun stuff they’ve got packed in there! Being the food fans we are, we’re focusing on what’s available at the Disney Centerpiece.
The good news is, some of these items are available online, in case you aren’t able to visit the Co-op anytime soon. If you see a clickable link in our description, it will take you to the place where you can buy it!
Oh, my… where to begin?! How about Adventureland section?
Adventureland
Ceramic Dole Whip Keepsake Box
How can we not start with Dole Whips? At first glance, this ceramic Dole Whip appears to be only that – just a ceramic figurine.
However, you can lift off the lid and store a keepsake in the Dole Whip’s bowl.
I think this would look SO AWESOME on a desk!
Aloha Isle Hurricane Glasses
If you prefer a different homage to your beloved Dole Whip, these Aloha Isle Hurricane Glasses might do the trick.
Cheers!
Aloha Plates
These “Aloha” plates measure in at 7 inches, for appetizers or desserts… or both 😉 .
Color choices are red, blue, and green.
Aloha Bowls
The companion “Aloha” bowls also come in three color choices: yellow, purple, and blue.
I like how the colors inside differ from the outside, making them extra-bright.
Adventureland Tumblers
The colorful fun doesn’t stop with the bowls and plates. These Adventureland tumblers come in transparent yellow or green.
Actually, the official color names are “Olive” and “Amber,” if you want to get all fancy 😉 .
Adventureland Mugs
Can’t decide which aspect of Adventureland you like the most? This Adventureland collage mug captures pretty much all of it!
Believe it or not, all this barely scratches the surface. There is more Adventureland stuff packed in this store than you can shake a stick at… but please don’t shake any sticks at it. This stuff is breakable 😉 .
Little Orange Bird
Okay, so the little Orange Bird is technically a part of Adventureland in Sunshine Tree Terrace, but he has his own little section of merchandise at the Co-op, so I decided to give him the same thing here.
Orange Bird Figure
First, you can have your very own Orange Bird, in the form of this Orange Bird figure!
At 6 inches, he’s larger than I anticipated, but just as cute as I expected ;).
Orange Bird Pitcher
But the best part is that he has his own small line of kitchen items, including this cheerful glass pitcher.
Of course, if you’ve got a pitcher full of orange juice, you’ll need something to pour it in. That’s where these come in handy…
Orange Bird Juice Glasses
Seriously, STOP. This too-cute set of four juice glasses pays tribute to the little Orange Bird’s history with the Florida Citrus Commission.
He’s reminding us to think “Orange Thoughts,” just like back in the day!
Vintage Attraction Poster Series
We aren’t entirely leaving Adventureland behind as we move into the Vintage Attraction Poster line.
Attraction Poster Pilsner Glasses
We’ll start with these HUGE Jungle Cruise Pilsner glasses.
I have to say, though, that these face some major competition from next Pilnser choice… Space Mountain!
These sizeable Pilsners stand about 9 inches high.
Attraction Poster Plates
Like the Adventureland line, the Attraction Poster line is packed with Disney fan favorites. These Attraction Poster plates feature artwork from the posters for Disneyland Railroad, the Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, and Jungle Cruise.
The ceramic plates are quite hefty and sturdy, and measure 7 inches around.
Attraction Poster Short Glass Tumblers
The Short Glass Tumblers have a few suprises. This picture looks like an assortment of several glasses; however, they are actually dual-sided. Choices include Mr. Toad and Alice in Wonderland, as well as Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion.
That bit of the Matterhorn Bobsleds you may have spotted features the Monorail on the other side.
Attraction Poster Glass Tankards
Check out these 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Glass Tankards! It was easy to spot the giant squid.
You can see the Haunted Mansion tankards were going fast.
These next two items veer off a bit from the Attraction Poster series, but we’re still staying within the ride realm :).
Mad Tea Party Salt and Pepper Shakers
The Mad Tea Party salt and pepper shakers come with their own shared “saucer.”
The saucer has two raised spots on which the shakers can sit, so they won’t be quite as topsy-turvy on your table as they appear.
Mr. Toad Figure
And what can I say about this Mr. Toad figure?
An awesome homage to a favorite ride in both Disneyland and Disney World (RIP).
Magic Kingdom Maps
There are oodles of pieces featuring symbols from vintage Magic Kingdom Park Maps.
Magic Kingdom Map Stemmed Glass
One of my favorites is this Magic Kingdom stemmed glass.
I love how the icons and artwork are dotted all over the glass. You’ll see this trend continue on all the Magic Kingdom Map pieces.
Magic Kingdom Map Appetizer Set
The Appetizer set has three bowls decorated with the same icons, and they sit on a tray showcasing a collage of park map images.
While it appears in this picture that 3 lands each have their own bowl, in actuality each bowl is decorated with one land on each side: Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, and Adventureland.
Magic Kingdom Land Plates
If you prefer to focus on just your favorite land, or create your own assortment, you can do so with these Frontierland, Adventureland, and Tomorrowland plates.
It’s good to know that these plate designs come in either 7 OR 8 inch measurements, so be sure to choose your preference!
Magic Kingdom Trash Can Salt and Pepper Shakers
My absolute favorite nod to life in the Parks, though, are the mix-and-match Trash Can Salt and Pepper Shakers!
I wanted to grab all four… and I don’t even sprinkle salt on my food!
Be Our Guest
The Be Our Guest line transitions us from vintage Disney, and brings a completely different look along with it.
Be Our Guest Dinner Plate
The Be Our Guest line primarily includes plates and bowls, my favorite of which is the full-sized dinner plate.
I love how Lumiere’s introduction for “Be Our Guest” wraps around the plate: “It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight. And now we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair, as the dining room proudly presents — your dinner!”
Be Our Guest Dessert Plate
This Be Our Guest dessert plate is custom-made to feature… what else? The Grey Stuff!
It’s delicious!
Be Our Guest and Alice in Wonderland Stemless Wine Glasses
Several products etched with sayings from Alice in Wonderland are similar in design to those in the Be Our Guest line. Take a look at these stemless wine glasses…
Alice in Wonderland Cordial Set
I thought this Alice in Wonderland cordial glass set was unique and pretty as well.
I’m rather surprised one doesn’t say “Drink Me,” but love the swirling, whimsical font.
Mickey, Minnie, and… the Evil Witch?!
Well, I wouldn’t have put these together in my head, but it makes more sense when you see the items in this last line, showcasing some of our favorite treats and a few spots where you can get them.
Mickey Ice Cream Bar Mug
If you can’t get your hands on a Mickey Ice Cream Bar, this Mickey Mouse mug honoring one might be the next best thing.
Is it weird, though, that Mickey himself is eating a Mickey-shaped bar? I guess not, since he says “It’s Swell!”
Still, I wonder how he feels about biting off the ears…
Disney Treat Dessert Plates
You can also spot Mickey on the Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar Dessert Plate. These plastic dessert plates come in an assortment reflecting a few other Disney treats and homes to Disney snacks, too: Minnie’s Bake Shop, the Candy Cauldron, and Goofy’s Candy Company.
Candy Cauldron Mug
And the Evil Queen-turned-Witch gets her moment in the spotlight with her very own Candy Cauldron mug.
Disney Restaurant Signs and Artwork
The fun still doesn’t stop once you reach the register with your purchases. I loved this display of signs available to take home.
Aloha Isle Sign
You could have your own little Aloha Isle at home with the Aloha Isle sign.
You may have seen a few of these in Art of Disney stores previously, but a couple of them were new to me, including the Mama Melrose’s Mona Lisa and the Tony’s Town Square signs. You can also find the Gaston’s Tavern sign in other spots around Disney World, including Bonjour Village Gifts in New Fantasyland.
If you make a trip to the Marketplace Co-op on your next trip to Downtown Disney, I’d recommend planning at least an hour to see everything. Hopefully this post has given you some idea so you won’t feel quite as overwhelmed with the options as I did!
But remember, there is a lot more to see – this is just a glimpse! From colorful retro-stylings, to black and white elegance, there is something at Disney Centerpiece for just about every Disney fan, and we’ll be sure to stop back in to keep you posted on any future items. Plus, I still have a couple of Trash Can Salt and Pepper Shakers I need to pick up 😉 .
Does anything at Disney Centerpiece strike your fancy? Please let us know with a comment!

I’m heading to the world in November and I will certainly be picking up a few items.
What is the price of the Salt & Pepper Trash Cans?
Kirsty says
Oooh I can’t wait to visit! Everything looks amazing. 😀 Thanks for sharing.
Rachel says
Did I see an Orange Bird pillow?!? Super excited to go to this store in July – whoohoo!
Connie says
The trash can salt and pepper shakers could be used for cinnamon and sugar. 😉
Brooke says
I NEEEEEEED that Orange Bird Pitcher and those glasses in my life! NEEEEED, I tell you!
Kari says
Wow, I am gonna spend some major money there in November. I have a Haunted Mansion obsession.
Suzanne says
Kari, I’ll be there in November as well and already told my husband I’m gonna go crazy in that gift shop…major $!!
Emmy says
I want it ALL!!!! Oh My I have never wanted so many items from one store! I love that little Orange Bird!! Thank you so much for all the GREAT pics!! I need to shop NOW!!!
Karen says
“I wanted to grab all four… and I don’t even sprinkle salt on my food!”
That’s me! I don’t put salt on my food, and I bought all four! Il put cinnamon & sugar in one of them. Two sit on my desk at work. They’re so cute!
Lee – UK — I believe the trash cans were $9.95. I bought them at disneystore.com about a month ago. I just looked at the site, and they don’t have them listed anymore.
Adam says
This is truly ridiculous. I do not have enough money to buy everything I want (which is just about EVERYTHING, plus everything that isn’t even shown here). I LOVE ANYTHING with attractions on them!
Anna says
Anything haunted mansion!!!!! Love love love the plates!!!!!!
Wendy says
Thanks, Karen, for that info on the online pricing — I was bummed that they weren’t still online, so your comment gives me hope that maybe they’ll post them online again sometime!
The Trash Can Salt & Pepper shakers were $8.95 apiece in the store (at least when I visited on Friday). I must have stared at them for 10 minutes, trying to decide which ones I liked the most… and I never could decide ;)!
I LOVE the idea of putting cinnamon and sugar in them… thank you, Connie and Karen! I’d never thought of that, and that would be perfect for making cinnamon toast (plus a reason to get more shakers 😉 ). Ha!
Lynn says
I have not seen the trash can shakers but I would bet you could put powdered sugar in one to shake on your brownies, French toast, doughnuts, etc. Now you have a reason to buy all 4!
Avaitor says
I’ve seen these around before, but wasn’t sure where to buy any of these items at WDW. Now that I know, I’ll have to make a stop to Downtown Disney soon. I absolutely can’t say no to anything 20,000 Leagues related, and I can also find room for some of the Haunted Mansion and Mr. Toad merch as well!
Melanie says
I am SO glad Disney listened to my (and many others, I’m sure) Survey answers….I have been pleading for more adult merchandise. We will be there in October and this will be a major stop! Now if they would just wake up to the adult shirt market…quality Polos with different Characters. My Tigger shirts are falling apart after 20 years of use!!! I love Mickey, but variety is the spice of life!
Can’t wait to look at the Trash Cans and the Be Our Guest Dishes. My Mickey Parts dishes are getting old from overuse for 15+ years. We use different Salts (Pink, etc..) So they would be Perfect (besides being very cute).
Melanie says
Oh! Are the Signs metal??? I love those, too…LOTS of time will be spent looking and trying to decide what to ship home!
Essie says
Thank you so much for this article; what fun it was going through it and looking at the photos. I love the S&P trash cans, the park ride dessert plates, the wicked witch Candy Cauldron mug and plate and the 20,000 Leagues glass mug (just for good old memories!). Sheesh, it sounds like I have an entire Christmas list for my friends and I already!
Sarah @ Running at Disney says
I’m afraid to step foot in this store for fear of having to take a second mortgage out on my home because I bought WAY too much. I would like ALL THE THINGS!!!
Alan says
Exactly where is this? I want to make sure my wife does NOT walk by this shop.
Wendy says
Alan — Coming from the World of Disney Store, you’ll see it just after passing Ghirardelli’s. If you’re familiar with the former Team Mickey store, that’s the place :).
julie says
Love this as it all looks so new and fresh – roll on August.
Beth Carbonaro says
I Loved this article, but would also like to hear about Marketplace-Co Op’s latest and greatest makeup and beauty cosmetic store! Any chance you’ll do a follow-up story? I’d love it!!! Thanks for this great information! I can’t wait to go!
Deb Marquardt's says
Fabulous items! This will definitely be a stop during my November 2014 trip! Making a list of “MUST HAVE” items already!!
Eileen says
I wish they had the Mr. Toad statue online! I’m sure that item has sold out already!

“Alan said: ‘Exactly where is this? I want to make sure my wife does NOT walk by this shop.'”
Too funny, Alan…That is why I don’t let my husband read this blog! lol
Yea! My husband and I are planning a trip in Sept. during the Food and Wine Festival to celebrate our 40th birthdays…it will be our first time ever at WDW without kids (either as one or with one 😉 )! I am soooo psyched that all this fun stuff from my childhood can make it home in my suitcase…and this time I can actually prove it’s useful!!!
Nancy Hele says

Do you have the Think of a Wonderful Thought mug for sale? My daughter had one but her roommate broke it.
