Finally — news for those of you who have been requesting this info for a long time! The Disney Food Blog Snack Attack is back, better than ever!
We are celebrating the best time of the year at Walt Disney World — the Epcot Food and Wine Festival — with our very own Illuminations Dessert Party at Epcot! Tickets go on sale Monday, August 4th, at 9AM ET. This event always sells out quickly, so plan ahead!
Let’s get right down to the details!
Disney Food Blog Snack Attack Illuminations Dessert Party
We love having the chance to meet and greet our readers. And Snack Attack gives us an opportunity to do just that.
And it’s even better when we can enjoy some of our favorite Disney eats and VIP viewing of Epcot’s nighttime spectacular, Illuminations!
And that’s not all. The menu will include some epic snacks from all over Walt Disney World!
We are still fine tuning the menu, but you can be assured that guests will have their pick of an all-you-care-to-enjoy spread of DFB Favorites! These aren’t your garden variety mini-pastries. They’re snacks you know and love, like Carrot Cake Cookies from The Writer’s Stop in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We’ll have School Bread from Epcot’s Kringla Bakeri og Kafe, of course!
To balance out all those sweet treats, there’s fresh Popcorn as well.
How to Buy Tickets
Here are the details! Tickets will go on sale Monday, August 4, at 9:00AM ET.
The event will take place at the UK Pavilion in Epcot from 8:30pm-9:30pm on October 14, 2014. Families are welcome! Each member of your party will need their name on the list for entry (children under 3 are free). Tickets are $60 per person, and include:
*Entrance to the event
*Access to an all-you-care-to-eat, specialized menu dessert buffet (plus REAL Disney popcorn!)
*Access to the private IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth viewing area
Only guests with their full names on our roster will be admitted to the event, so please pay attention to the instructions you receive after purchasing to send us the names of the people in your party. Tickets are limited and will be sold first-come, first-served.
Should the event be sold out, you can join our waiting list by emailing us with your name, email address, and the number of people in your party at Support @ DFBGuide.com.
Tickets are non-refundable. Weather may impact location of the event. Extreme severe weather may cause for cancellation of Illuminations.
Hope to See You There!
We always have such a great time at Snack Attack; I’m so excited to host it again! I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and sharing this incredible experience!

Hello!
I am new to the blog (and I love it!) and was wondering, where do the tickets go on sale? Do you call Disney World as you would to make reservations or is there another place you call/log on to buy them?
Hannah says
OH…disappointment! We will be there just before and just after. We will be on the Disney Dream at that time. We will have a toast to everyone that gets to make it. Sounds like a great time. I am on this Blog everyday…a few times a day. Thanks for giving so much great information and for the food pictures. Makes waiting for your trip more exciting.
Erica says
Awwww we don’t arrive until October 18 =(
Tina says
UGH! Same here… We’re coming next week, August 7th-12th. And then for our Annual Big Trip, October 26th-November 5th! WHY MUST THIS FINALLY BE HAPPENING AGAIN 12 DAYS BEFORE WE ARRIVE! 🙁 So sad haha. It’s sure to be an awesome night to remember.
Carolyn says
Excellent — had a great time last year! We’ll be there that week!
AJ says
Erica and Tina — Oh NO! We’ll miss you guys! Send me your travel dates next year and we’ll work around ’em!
Hannah — You’ll have to celebrate on the ship for us!
Carolyn — Can’t wait to host you again! Thanks for your support!
Isela — We’ll have a link on the blog on Monday morning for ticket sales! Thanks for your support!
Hayley says
This looks excellent! Will you have the menu tweaked and settled before the tickets actually go on sale? Love the DFB and all the Disney treats but $60 a person is hard to commit too without knowing all the wonderful choices 🙂
Thanks!
Colleen Grace says
DARN! I’ll be there 12 days later. I bet that’s awesome. Now that I know there is such a thing I’ll try checking before I make my reservations next year.
Vicki says
Darn it, we don’t arrive until the 25th 🙁
Tammy says
Historically, how fast does this usually sell out?
RENEE says
Do we need to have our own park admission? Or does the cost of the event exclude park admission?
AJ says
Hayley — We won’t have the menu settled by Monday. Check this post to see what we’ve had in the past: http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2013/04/30/review-dfb-snack-attack-illuminations-dessert-party-save-the-date-for-our-october-event/. Hope you can make it!
Colleen Grace and Vicki — I’m so sorry we’ll miss you!
Tammy — In the past, it’s sold out in one or two days. It really depends on how many people will be in WDW at that time who have interest. This year, we’re actually selling fewer tickets since they lowered the max number who can fit in the space. Good news as we’ll have a less packed atmosphere for our party, but definitely fewer tickets than before.
Renee — The event cost does not include park admission. But you don’t need park admission to come to the event.
PG says
Why is it only one time? They should do it at least once a week so everyone can have a chance to attend.
Heather Sievers says
So you are coming straight from this to celebrate me????
Patti says
Hi,
For all of you who will miss October 14–there is another dessert party you might be able to attend.
This other dessert party is NOT the same, but it is fun, nonetheless. It is at Magic Kingdom and is called The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party and is sponsored by Disney. It is offered at least weekly.
The party goers have a reserved seat in the Terrace at Tomorrowland Terrace with a good view of the fireworks over the castle. The desserts are unlimited and varied. If it’s not too windy, Tink even flies RIGHT OVER YOUR HEAD!!!!
The price last year was very reasonable–as I remember, it was $31.00 per person which does NOT include park admission, which is required.
You can sign up for this event the same way you sign up for ADRs (advanced dining reservations) either on line or by phone. Reservations can be made 180 days out and do sell out quickly,m but because it is offered so frequently, you have a better chance of getting a ticket WHENEVER you are going to WDW.
Patti :o))
Deb. Curl says
Sadly, this will be the first one I’ll miss. I’m going to WDW in November this year. Snack Attack is the best of all of the fireworks dessert parties!
Jennifer says
Please do this again on November 5, just before the last week of Food & Wine Festival! We need one during Jersey week in November!!!
Brooke says
Jennifer — Thanks for your interest in Snack Attack! We don’t have one planned for 2015, but we will potentially be having several events in 2016! Stay tuned!
