We’re having a blast reporting to you LIVE from the 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
It’s super hot, sweaty, humid, rainy, (insert crappy weather term here) at the Fest so far this year, but that would never stop us from #EatingAllTheFood at every one of the Marketplace Booths at this year’s festival.
Today, I just wanted to remind you and yours (who I know are planning a Festival visit or eight this year) that we’ve got photos of EVERY food menu item (and most of the bevvies as well…except for the $32 Dom flute…I’m totally not buying that) and ALL menus/pricing at the Festival.
Pics and prices are all up on our booth pages, which you can find here!
Now, we shared with you on Friday our must-eat favorites from the Festival so far, but mentioned that we had about 17 new menu items that we really loved this year and had to narrow down for the post.
At the request of several readers, here are a few more of our “you. must. eat. this.” choices at the 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival…
Pao de Queijo — Brazil
This cheese bread is simple and delicious. Imagine a savory bun…filled with sharp cheese…an you’re there. If you get a good batch, it should be soft, moist, and veeeeeery cheesy!
Mango Green Tea with Popping Bubbles — China
What we loved about this was that the “bubbles” weren’t chewy tapioca — they were little bursts of strong mango flavor/juice!
Crème brûlée caramel fleur de sel — France
A new twist on an old classic, the milk chocolate creme brulee has switched up to a salted caramel version. Very rich. Big portion. What’s not to love?
Vegetarian moussaka — Greece
A surprising favorite among our staffers this year was this veggie dish. The flavor is fantastic if you’re a moussaka fan.
Carne guisada con arroz blanco — Puerto Rico
This is what we expected to find when we heard the Puerto Rico booth was returning. In the past, this booth had been one of the most flavorful in the Showcase; and you won’t be disappointed this year, either. Wonderful spiciness in this dish.
We’ll be sharing more from the Festival with you over the coming days, so stay tuned!

Shireen says
Thanks for the great tips and pics! We will be heading to Disney on Monday for the festival for over a week….Exciting stuff! Any DFB meet ups?
Derek says
When you consider the retail price of a bottle of Dom Perignon, and the fact that many restaurants don’t offer it by the glass – $32 isn’t such a bad deal (I’ve seen it priced at $40 a glass at a local restaurant). It may be worth the splurge to someone who wants to get a taste of vintage champagne.
AJ says
Shireen — You’re welcome! Have a wonderful and safe trip! No meet-ups til October, sadly!
Derek — You’re so, so right! I agree completely that it can be a great splurge for someone who loves champagne. It wasn’t a good fit for my budget personally. Thanks for your comment!

I hit up the booths on the 18th, day before published opening. Lines grew quickly but suffering in the heat paid off! I managed to get something from 11 countries. What luck to catch this on our last day of vacation. Best goodies were at Brazil, Mexico and Hawaii. The early shutdown around 7 due to lightning was upsetting. I was in line at Farm Fresh so missed your faves there. What a fun event!
JoAnn says
I am so looking forward to trying the cheese bread in a few weeks.
Pamela says
What about a souvenir beer glass? My collection needs a new 2014 edition!
Allison says
Every gluten free list I’ve seen doesn’t include Brazil’s Cheese Bread, but it’s listed as gluten free in the F&W brochure. Anyone know which is correct?
JoAnn says
When will the DFB meet up be in October?
soph says
Does the sea salt caramel creme brûlée contain any chocolate at all? or is it just caramel flavored?
AJ says
Soph — No chocolate at all. Just caramel flavored.
AJ says
JoAnn — It’s the Snack Attack on October 14th.

Have you been on the last day of the festival? We’ll be going to Disney (just me and my husband) Nov. 8-15 this year and were hoping to catch the tail end of the festival.
I read some past reviews that they were out of a lot of things and I don’t want that to be the case for us if we go. Our only other options are Saturday or Sunday, but I expect those days to be really crowded. I’m trying to figure out what our best options are!
Thanks.

My wife and I have been going to Disney at least 2-3 times a year for the last 15 years.( and we are not locals we are from Myrtle Beach SC ) We always go during the food and wine fest and absolutely love it ! Each time we challenge ourselves to try something new and exciting and are never disappointed. We enjoy every booth and all the people who work there, we know many of them by name now. Cannot miss Italy. We love to try out different wines from around the world and again, never disappointed. After stuffing our faces all day we always go at least once a trip to Victorias and Alberts. Its a must. For you elegant diners out there we recommend Narcoosies, Citrocos, ( both on site where we stay at the Grand Floridian ) and California Grill, we love them all. If you enjoy top notch cuisine these are your places. We will be there Oct 1st for a week to enjoy our favorite food and especially the wine, so don’t drink all the wine before we get there…..

I have a question – I was just at the Food and Wine festival on Sunday – I purchased a Food and Wine wine glass and had it sent to the gift shop at the entrance to pick up after I was through at Epcot – I picked it up that night and never opened it until I got home last night and found out it is broken!! I am so upset – do you know if there is any way to purchase one online somewhere? Thanks for any help!
