They’re heeeeere….
As of TODAY, Main Street Bakery and Fountain View (the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Starbucks locations) are carrying Starbucks mugs dedicated to the park in which they serve your mochas, Frappuccinos, and soy, half-caf, vanilla lattes (no whip!). We stopped by Fountain View today to see the Epcot mug. Since you can only see one side of the design in the box…
… we grabbed one to show you each side of the design (if a circular mug indeed has a “side,” that is).
Also at Fountain View were the travel cold cups, designed
to match the regular ones you would receive if you ordered a cold beverage in Disney Parks.
Thanks to reader Matt, we got a peek at the Magic Kingdom mug also!
With two more Starbucks locations coming to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, it’s anticipated that each location will receive its own special mug as well. Here’s a sneak peek at the mugs you’ll find there, with photos courtesy of Starbucks.
Find them in Disneyland in Anaheim, too!
You may recall seeing the Orlando mug that is carried at the Downtown Disney Starbucks locations.
It’s part of a series I always referred to as “city mugs,” and many Starbucks fans enjoy collecting these cups from their travels around the world. Well, now they can be collected for travels around “the World,” too ;).
Will you be collecting the Disney “You Are Here” mugs? Please let us know with a comment!
Kim Holt says
We may get a couple since DH loves his Starbucks. Are they available online anywhere?
ANNMARIE SPOSATO says
Hello! My name is Annmarie! We have been DVC Members since 2003, and coming to Disney for many years prior!!
We are true Disney diehard’s!! We spent Christmas in Disney! I am also a diehard Starbuck’s fan! I a regular a my neighborhood Starbucks! In fact, I am sending thismessage to you from Starbucks! Haha!
I am so disappointed that I missed these mugs by a few weeks!
I collect those mugs from special places I have been and special trips with special people!
Is there any way to purchase these mugs? If you could let me know I would be very grateful!!
Thank you for your time!
Annmarie Sposato
Lauren Y. says
Do you know if we can get these sent through Disney Merchandise?
Katie says
Any idea how much the coffee mugs cost?
Tracy says
Yes. Yes I will.
Katie says
Nevermind! I see the picture of the price tag 🙂
JOE says
Were online can I buy these mugs?
Lois says
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE one of those Epcot mugs. I may have to figure out if I can either order one or beg someone to purchase one for me and ship it to me. Any idea if they’ll be available to order online?
Angela says
Going to be in Disneyland the beginning of February so I will definitely try to get the one on Main Street and California Adventure!
cptnruthless says
I went to Disneyland & California Adventure today to pick mine up! They are only sold at their respective parks and NOT at Downtown Disney.
Essie says
I like the EPCOT mug. Some people don’t like the super sized mugs that a lot of mugs are today. They’re just too big for them. This looks like a regular sized cup and I think the art work on it is pretty nice. I’m anxious to see the MK mug, too.
jennifer says
these are not available to order through disney merch services- tried that myself! hoping these are NOT limited editions.
Wendy says
Hi, all 🙂 ! cptnruthless is correct – at this time, the Park mugs can only be purchased at the in-store locations at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, and not online. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye out in case that changes, and will update if it does. (Congrats on the Disneyland mugs, cptn!)
Ed says
I like the fact that they are microwave and dishwasher safe. It’s in the edge printing in the picture that shows the bottom of the mug. Many of the mugs we saw at WDW aren’t or at least aren’t marked.
Lori Cach says
Can the Starbucks cold cups be purchased online???
Valerie Miller says
Is there any way these can purchased online or somewhere? We are planning a trip, but not until 2017 :(. Also, do anyone know if we will be able to use Starbucks gift cards there?
Sarah says
I got to see the mug for each park yesterday on another site. The whole line is fantastic. The Epcot one is probably my favorite though- love the purple and love that park.
nicole says
Is the cold disney cup available at dtd?
col says
Whilst I like the design of the new mugs the wording should have said , You Were There , or We Were Here ,it seems to make a bit more sense, still there on the shopping list for our next visit.
Sarah says
Not sure what happened with my first post, so I’ll apologize now in case there’s a duplicate. I’ve seen this full line of mugs, and they are fantastic. I am in love with all of the designs, but the Epcot one has to be my favorite. Love the purple and the park!
Mathew Miranda says
Valerie Miller, I am currently at Walt Disney World and yes Starbucks gift cards work at the parks.
Kelly says
I collect the Mini Mugs, do you know if they will have those? Also, Downtown Disney needs it’s own mug
john says
These mugs are not available on line. Only at the locations. I asked Starbucks and that is the answer I got.
Amy R says
Does anyone know the size of the mugs? Are they the bigger coffee mugs or are they normal 8 oz mug?
Mealtrip says
@ Amy R – The mugs are 14oz, so you could pour a whole can of soda in there, and still have about 3/4 of an inch before you overflow the mug… if that helps size-wise. It’s larger than an “American standard” mug, but not crazy heavy.
Jenn says
can anyone confirm that they are available at Disneyland? Specifically CAlifornia Adventure? I saw comments about not in downtown Disney. Thank you very much in advance??? ☕️
Jody says
I asked at the Disneyland Starbucks in December why they didn’t have the mugs and if they were going to get them and an employee ( I won’t call her a cast member because she was quite rude about it and did not act like a cast member in my opinion ) told me that they would never get them – I am glad to see that they have, now I want them.
MinnieMommie says
There are shopping services that buy items in the parks for the people that can’t go themselves. I’ve used one that is very reputable but I don’t know if I’m allowed to give their name out. I’m going to get a set of the mugs (WDW and DL) from them since I won’t be traveling in the near future. I’m afraid they will sell out!
Kelly M says
So, I don’t drink coffee/tea/hot drinks… but I need these! I love the nice bright DHS one. MK is pretty cute too. Hope they will have them in September!
Mark says
Just wondering what size is the cold cup?
Tricia Noble says
Usually if there is a Disney Barcode you can buy thru Disney Merchandising.
cruch says
I read that the mugs will only be available for purchase in the parks. MK mug only in the Starbucks in MK etc.
AJ says
Jenn — They are available at California Adventure (just the California Adventure one)
Kathy Kelley says
Does anyone know how long these will be available?
Janet Sala says
I will, of course, need a set of four! 😉
Jimmy says
Is anyone aware if Passholder discounts apply to these mugs? I’d assume so since it’s “merchandise”, but it’s also a “Starbuck’s product” as well (loopholes etc).
Nick Andrews says
Cool mugs if they didn’t have that stupid starbucks logo on them. I wonder if it could be scraped off without damaging them?
Janell says
Yes! I will be taking my daughter to WDW in a couple of weeks to live for 6 months doing the College Internship program so I’ll be purchasing at least one of these mugs!
Terri D says
As an owner of an independent coffee shop, and a Disney fan, I am surprised that for everything Disney does so well, they could not do coffee and needed to hire Starbucks instead of finding a local roaster (or roast it themselves) to do the coffee. For all the amazing training I hear about at Disney, they couldn’t train Baristas? Don’t get me wrong, Ill be happy to get a good cappuccino, but it seems Disney is out sourcing….just wondering when the next chain-store on Mainstreet USA will arrive…..
Anne Laivins says
Well, I was at the Disney’s parks with my daughter’s school choir last year and went into all the Starbucks to see if they had a special Disney mug. I went on the Disney website/FB to state that I would have bought a mug with some mouse ears on it if they would have had them. So…saw others ask, can we buy them online?
Shashona says
You can go on eBay and order they are overpriced but I guess if you want it bad enough you’ll pay it. I imagine the longer they are out the price on eBay will go down.
Jessica says
Definitely getting several of these when I visit in a May! Can’t wait!
Wayne says
I can confirm they have them at Cal Adv and Dland, and that you do get AP discount. I bought both yesterday.
Galloping Gourmond says
They look kinda squat and short, but I like them. The Starbucks branding I could live without but that’s a personal preference as I dislike wearing or owning designs with very propionate logos (other than Disney).
Ben says
Terri D, I not your comment about outsourcing, while I can’t speak for the California theme parks, I know for a fact that WDW theme park locations are completely Disney owned & operated by Disney cast members, and not Starbucks employees. Also I’ve seen a few comments from others about whether the Disneyfied travel cups are available at the downtown Disney locations. As far as I’ve seen they’re not I believe this is because the regular plastic cup aren’t Disneyfied like the theme park locations.
Roz in Louisiana says
I really like the mugs but don’t know if I would spend $20.00 for one. We are Starbucks fans and love their coffee and frapp’s. For myself and my husband it costs us close to $15.00 every time we go there, but I guess as long as their in business .
Melanie says
I soooooo need that AK one! Here’s to hoping that the AK starbucks will open in April…
Maybe if I wish upon a star… 😉
Renée says
We just returned from Disneyland California and didn’t see these adorable Disney Starbucks mugs and cups. Will these be available online? Mahalo & Aloha from Hawai’i.
Cathy McCarron says
my family and I are going to Disney in July will the mugs still be there????
Elizabeth Mayberry says
I just got home from there and I am just a little too late! Maybe I can still get them!
