Did you know you can take a real taste of the Hawaiian islands home with you from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort?
Now, you may already be familiar with some of the ways you can grab a macadamia treat while at the resort… say, the Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cupcake occasionally spotted at Captain Cook’s, or Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes from Kona Cafe.
But I was walking by Boutiki recently — the main merchandise location at the Polynesian — and couldn’t help but notice this window display packed to the brim with “Hawaiian Host” items, prepackaged and ready for travel.
Stepping inside I found the Hawaiian Host display, which features an assortment of chocolate treats — all starring Macadamia nuts. The selection at Boutiki includes
macadamias covered in dark and milk chocolate.
Adding caramel to the mix? Even better!
And ToffeeMacs… with toffee, chocolate, AND macadamia nuts. Yes, please!!
Among all the sweet snacks, I did find a savory bag as well: Maui Onion and Garlic macadamias.
The pre-packaged snacks range from $6.95 to $19.95, and they’re all ready for gift-giving if you enjoy purchasing souvenirs for friends and family back home. Of course, if you employ the whole “one for you, two for me” strategy here, I’m sure not gonna blame ya ;).
Aloha!
Have you tried Hawaiian Host Macadamia treats? Please let us know with a comment!

Think they use this brand to make the pineapple macadamia nut pancakes at Kona? ‘Cause that would make for a very authentic at-home recipe recreation!

@Wendy
I haven’t tried them yet, but I’m looking to pick the caramel and toffee ones in October! I’m so excited! 🙂

Ive visited Hawaii once a year for the last 5 years, the only thing keeping me away this year is that we’re going to Disney instead! I CRAVE the Maui Onion and Garlic mac nuts through the year though so I will definitely be taking a trip over to that resort to pick up a bag (or seven) to munch on!

We used to buy these at a Hawaiian shop that has closed, so now I definitely have to visit the Poly next trip. The chocolate -covered nuts are simply wonderful!

OOOOO, Maui Onion and Garlic Mac Nuts are the best! They’d be a perfect snack while sitting at the pool bar having a cocktail.

You can (at least in my area!) find Hawaiian Host products at The Christmas Tree Shop. The dark chocolate macadamias are delicious! 😀
