Just the other day we shared word that one of our favorite Disney performers will be sharing his music at The Boathouse — the next restaurant presumed to be arriving on the Disney dining scene at Disney World’s Disney Springs.

The Boathouse
While all signs are pointing to a possible April 13th opening, we can’t yet confirm the opening date. What we can do today, though is give you a glimpse at The Boathouse menu — AND show you some food photos of the menu items! Now, remember, all information here is subject to change. But let’s have a look at a few screenshots from the My Disney Experience app, along with a few pictures from theboathouseorlando.com (huge thanks to DFB reader Jenny M. for giving us the heads up on these pics!). You’ll want to make yourself comfy, because the list is pretty extensive!
As anticipated, this signature restaurant will focus on steaks, chops and seafood. In fact, let’s start with a look at the Steak, Chops & Provisions menu (for this first screenshot, I’ve left the map image so you can see where The Boathouse will be located — right next to Fulton’s). Among the many selections you’ll notice Filet Mignon and New York Strip (both with Bone-in options), a Porterhouse for Two, and a Tomahawk Long Bone Rib Chop for Two.

The “Green Grass and High Tides” selections offer Surf and Turf made for sharing. The Beach & Sea Lobster Bake serves two, while The Boathouse Surf & Turf Table serves four.

The Fish or Cut Bait menu offers dishes such as Wild Baja Shrimp de Jonghe and Hoison Glazed Florida Wahoo.

But then, you may prefer to start with some appetizers from
the “Launch” options, including Firecracker Shrimp and Coconut Frog Legs.

“Stem to Stern” features Baked Crab Stuffed Lobster and Jumbo Lump Crab Cake as well as a Half Rotisserie Amish Chicken among the options for the landlubbers in your group.

Among the Side Items you’ll find Shrimp & Andouille Mac ‘n Cheese (spelled incorrectly in the menu?) and Roasted Wild Mushrooms.

Of course, you can’t forget the “Ports of Call”!

The “Not So Bitter End” gives us the dessert choices, like Whiskey Caramel Cornbread Cake and another shareable item: S’mores Baked Alaska for 4. (Clearly, the fact that one of the desserts is duplicated means that this is a preliminary menu and will be updated before the opening.)

Oh, and the kiddos haven’t been forgotten! Here’s a look at the Kids’ Entrees, featuring Make Your Own Tacos and “Sticks and Stones” (Chicken Tenders and Fresh Fish Nuggets).

And for dessert, children can choose from items like an Icee Brain Freeze Float (no fair! Kids have all the fun! 😉 ), and an Oreo Chocolate Fudge Sundae.

And one more for the kids… they can grab an Icee in a Lighthouse Cup to remember their time at The Boathouse!

While it’s clear that things will change a bit on this menu (I imagine many of the prices are stand-ins at this time), we’re looking forward to keeping you posted on more news from The Boathouse in the weeks to come!

Doubtless Disney people are reading these comments. Many prices are indeed nuts, but that said a porterhouse for two for $ 60 looks pretty good as does the lobster for two.
I think the prices are correct. I also heard that they plan on being filled to capacity for the first 4th months. So everyone come join me at Earl of Sandwich for dinner. Oh yeah, if you want a ride on the boat/car you’ll need another 100
We had lunch there today during the preview event they’re holding this week. Chef Bob Getchell has done an amazing job with the menu. Everything was outstanding. We had oysters and shrimp and poached lobster as appetizers. Then Hoisin glazed triplefin and a 14 oz Bone-In filet for entrees. Everything was perfectly prepared; I even enjoyed the oysters and I’m not normally an oyster person. This place is going to be well worth the money.

If the porterhouse for two is half as good as the one at Yachtsmen steakhouse then it’s worth $60.

I am the biggest WDW fan around, but they have lost their mind. $21 for a side of asparagus???? I can possibly justify inflated prices for a high quality steak, but asparagus???? That I can get for (worst case) $5.99/lb at Fresh Market?

Will the Boathouse honor Tables in Wonderland for reat of 2015.
Had dinner her last night. Food was great. Server was terrible. I would have ordered the baked Alaska how ever the waitress decided to hang out with another table for over 10 minutes while we were finished with our dinner. When I asked her to come over she replied give me a minute. Waitress was talking about how rude her other tables were durring her shift that night.
Has anyone used the Disney Dining Plan at The Boathouse? What is included in your meal? Do they include a side with the entree or do you have to pay for those separately since sides are separate?
