Star Wars Weekends continue to grow in popularity with the release of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens later this year. And Disney is answering the call by providing lots of premium experiences for guests to enjoy.
But the coolest Star Wars Weekends events in our opinion? The ones that involve food, of course!
We saw the introduction of Star Wars Dining Opportunities last year, as Disney introduced Star Wars Character Dining Experiences. Guests can choose from Jedi Mickey’s Star Wars Dine at Hollywood and Vine (see our review here) or Star Wars Dine-In Galactic Breakfast at Sci-Fi (see a guest review here).
But today, we have news of another returning event. Set your cruisers to lightspeed and get ready to dial: Feel the Force Premium Packages are returning in 2015, and you can start booking them today!
The packages, which debuted in 2014, get you up close to all the action happening during Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. They are available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during Star Wars Weekends, which take place this year from May 15 until June 14.
There are two different packages to choose from. Let’s check out what you get with each of them.

$69?! I was expecting it to be a three digit number considering the MK dessert party is now in the $50’s. That’s pretty awesome! We don’t have kids and prefer not to go when it’s hot, but maybe one of these days we’ll get to Star Wars weekends in mid May before Memorial Day week.

I booked the Deluxe Premium a couple of days ago. I booked it as soon as humanly possible. I keep wavering on whether or not it was worth it, but in the end, $30 per person for two people isn’t that bad in the grand scheme of things. Plus it freed up a Tier 1 FP, and we’re guaranteed seats for all the shows. The regular Premium does not guarantee any show, and thus may not be worth it in the end.
Georgeanne says
Beware- the deluxe premium package is sold out for at least some dates already! Bummed that this went on sale with no advance warning.
Kathy says
The price is a lot better then that Frozen package they did in the winter ($89pp). Can’t wait for Star Wars weekends!
Jen says
Does anyone know if any of the Star Wars food/merchandise is available prior to the actual Star Wars weekends beginning? We’re going May 1-13 and I know my little guy would love it. We were able to get into a Star Wars character meal, which will be great.
Evelynn says
Ohh, boo. We won’t get to go! My 7 year olds disappointed about that.
Heather says
Does anyone know if there are discounts for these packages for Annual Passholders or Tables in a Wonderland??
Fernanda Campos says
Hahaaha Fantastic!!! Cant wait to try this on my next time there! 🙂
Laura says
They missed a package. There is a VIP one that is $399
Brooke says
Laura — Thanks for the heads up! We’ve added the VIP Ultimate Tour information to our post. 🙂
Suzie says
Excited for the VIP option, which we have booked…but….
For the added cost of this special package, will there be a private dessert party for the VIPs?
There has been conflicting responses on this…and I can’t get through to talk to anyone that can answer this for me!
Can’t wait for Star Wars Weekends!!
Thanks
Stephanie says
We booked the VIP tour for Friday June 5th, we were told the dessert party is included; however, as it is a party you mingle with all the other packages, and there is no seating.
Marc Schreiber says
I’m nearing my end so decided to splurge on the VIP tour. The tour begins at 6:45 a.m. and I have to find my on way to Hollywood Studio. No transportation is included in the MONSTROUS price!!! I could rent a car for one day at over $40 or take a cab for $25-30. You would think at the humongous cost Disney could send a van. The published itinerary doesn’t mention it but there maybe backstage stuff involved, because there are areas where no photography is allowed.
E. says
We’re going to WDW next year, either January or May. My son will be 4 in May. Are Star Wars Weekends totally crazy in the beginning or not? Worth it?
Marc Schreiber says
The Delux premium package looks to be a much better deal than the VIP tour at 1/4 the price. It looks like VIP’s only extras are 3 rides and you can get those as FP+and some good food: Brown Derby breakfast boofay and pre-fixe lunch at Mama Melrose. The Darth Vader encounter was sans autograph should have been Chewie. $200 would have been reasonable considering the meals.
