You know how I’m always going on and on about the huge variety of food, drinks, and cuisine around Epcot’s World Showcase? I mean, you can find just about anything and everything, which is why I talk about it ALL the time, like it’s my job or something.
Oh, wait… it IS my job.
I guess somebody’s gotta do it! 😉
Anyway, I really do mean that you can find everything… and here’s my proof (ha ha — PROOF! I crack me up). Did you know that you can stock up on your supply of Moonshine at Epcot?
Yep! The Port of Entry and Disney Traders gift shops (those are the two gifts shops at the entrance to World Showcase between the Canada and Mexico Pavilions) carry an assortment of the whiskey beverage.
They’ve actually been available for some time now (and are, of course, being incorporated into many a cocktail around property due to the popularity of moonshine right now), but I only recently paused to take a look at the
assorted flavors. Aside from the Backwoods brand pictured above, you can also find Firefly Moonshine in Strawberry, Peach, and Apple Pie. How great are these mason jars?!
A little White Lightning and Blackberry are up for grabs as well.
I feel a special connection to Firefly since it’s out of South Carolina, where my brother and his family currently live! They’ve actually been to the distillery!
Fancy yourself a jar or two? Aside from the entryway gift shops, you can also find a similar assortment at Heritage Manor Gifts in the American Adventure Pavilion.
And in the event that you do pick some up, Cheers!
Do any of the moonshine flavors appeal to you? Please let us know with a comment!

Nice find…..I had no clue they were bring sold here!
If I may so ask, since I know what they cost in SC, what is Disney selling them for?

Mike V — I’ll go through my pics and see if I took one of the pricetag! Sometimes I’m moving through so fast I forget 🙁

I’m in Charleston and the moonshine sells here for 20.99 at Total Wine. This is usually the cheapest place to buy your adult beverages.

We have them at our local liquor store for about $5-$7 cheaper than the Disney price. Also if you are in a state that can ship alcohol (alas in Mass we cannot), you may do better online. I purchased two bottles last fourth of July and they put them in a cardboard box and taped the box shut so you couldn’t open it easily while walking the park. When I returned for New Years, they only ship to the front of the park for pickup and won’t let you carry it on your person for the day. As it happened it was almost closing, we were leaving in the morning and we were staying at the Beach Club Villas so it wouldn’t have been worth the trouble nor was there time to wait 3-4 hours for it to make it’s way to the front of the park. A little disappointing there was no signage about the policy, but after seeing the pricing at the local liquor store it all ended up for the best.
Pat says
@Mike, to answer your question the price was $25.95 as of last Fourth of July.

As a Canadian this will be a nice treat. We are known for our beer not our moonshine! Of course we will be down for food and wine so maybe there will be a “flight” and we can try them all! LOL

Although we would have no trouble finding this type of product where we live (Virginia), I can see its gift potential for my cat sitter, especially the blackberry. I’m always fussing about the need for real American made products to be available for those who visit from other countries, and this would likely fill the bill for many visitors.

This is awesome! Happy to see Firefly at Disney World! I am a Charleston native and love the Firefly sweet tea vodka (careful, it bites). Great to share this product with the World!

@Pat, in case you find yourself in a similar situation again, you can also have it sent to the International Gateway. We bought some in January when we were staying at the Beach Club Villas. We bought it at 3:00 and picked it up at the IG on our way back to the resort at 6:00.

We had a jar of pumpkin pie flavored last Thanksgiving. It was awesome. Not sure if the Firefly brand has this flavor at holiday time but other brands do. Also I have bought maraschino cherries in moonshine that are awesome.
