We have some super big news for you today about the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
The fun is just around the corner — the festival, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, will take place September 25-November 16, 2015. That’s more than seven weeks of food and fun!
And today, we’re finding out more of what we can expect from this special year!
“The Chew” to Tape Shows from the Epcot Food and Wine Festival
We all love ABC’s The Chew, right? And we’ve enjoyed Host Carla Hall in her appearances at the Food and Wine Festival.
But this year, they’ll take it a step further, as the show tapes episodes on location at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival on October 7, 8, and 9! Expect to see the episodes air the week of October 12-16.
And — it looks like The Chew crew won’t just be taping shows, but will also be hosting some additional Special Events! Stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted as information more becomes available.
Shows will be taped before a live audience. Check out thechew.com for information on how to obtain tickets.
First Ever Future World Marketplace Booths
In addition, we are learning more today something that we’ve heard hints about: Food and Wine Festival Booths are expanding into Future World!
The new area will actually be themed with The Chew in mind, and will be called Next Eats. There, you’ll find two brand new Food Booths:
- Sustainable Chew Marketplace: This spot will feature 3 dishes from the chefs and hosts on The Chew — Savory Pork Spareribs with Cheesy Mascarpone Grits; Ricotta & Zucchini Ravioli with Tomato Sauce; and Vanilla Panna Cotta with Fresh Figs and Pistachio Brittle. And to bring it all on home to Epcot, herbs and vegetables from The Land Pavilion will be used to punch up the dishes! The area will also offer guests a chance to learn about sustainably-grown food.
- Chew Lab: This new booth will offer an intersection between cutting edge culinary trends and food science, taking the eating experience to a whole new cerebral level.

Is there a list for the 2015 Food and Wine festival of all of the Gluten free foods? Trying to find just one list instead of having to search for it 🙂
Sandra Vorpahl says
I can’t wait, it happens to be during the time I am there, hope I can get tickets!!!!!
Brooke says
Nicole — Full menus aren’t out yet, but when they are, we expect they’ll share gluten free items again this year, and we’ll be sure to share them with you. 🙂

Our whole family will be staying at Boardwalk the week of taping. We are DVC me earns and have Chase Disney Visa cards.
How can we get tickets for one of the shows?

Oh I might be there on the 9th. I’d love to see that. Thanks for the info!
DebC says
I’m glad I won’t be there until after the Chew is done. Haven’t liked them since they kicked All My Children out of their spot.
Brooke says
Bonnie — You can learn more about tickets by checking out thechew.com. Good Luck! 😀
Kristine Frick says
Please let me know how to get tickets for the EPCOT visit of the CHEW I could not get them on their website
Meg says
Are all the tickets to The Chew gone?
Brooke says
Meg — the website is showing that that all of the Food and Wine Festival tapings are sold out, and there doesn’t seem to be a wait list option at this time. We’ll let you know if we hear of more tickets becoming available.
Laurie Turcotte says
Please let me know when tickets are available. It means so much to us to get tickets for the Epcot location. We follow and make most of the recipes. Thank you.
Dawn Kidle says
I too would love to get tickets to this taping – I am shocked that it shows Sold Out on their website with no waitlist available. I checked their page everyday since announcement – I never saw them say exactly when they would open up tickets for this event. Welp – If someone does have tickets and end up not being able to go, I and my fiancee’ would love the opportunity. 🙂
Susan Luth says
I have been checking out the ABC website since it was announced and tickets for the show have always said coming soon. I am not sure where the info that it is all sold out is coming from.confused DVC member!!!

Love The Chew and have been checking the ABC site daily for tickets to the Festival taping and no info available. Want to attend so badly.
sharon hintz says
So confused! I’ve been stalking The Chew…website, that is :-), since the taping was announced. I just saw the option change so that tickets could be requested yesterday afternoon. (I think before that it said “Coming Soon”.)
I was sent a waitlist email. I sure hope there’s still the chance to get tickets. I think this would be so awesome!!!
Donna Martin says
I agree with Susan Luth! The website “thechew.com” showed the tickets for the Chew tapings as “coming soon” up through September 8, and today September 9 it says “sold out”. What’s up with that?? Who got the tickets, and how did they get them??
James says
As far as I am aware the tickets went up for grabs back in mid July(I want to say the Friday after this announced) via 1iota.com. They sold out in about 1hr, after that they “waitlisted” people for a bit(where I am at). The site showed comming soon, then had a link to obtain, then went back to coming soon(maybe they were going to release more but never did?).
Rita Laboski says
I thought I registered for tickets way back when, but didn’t hear anything. So sad they are all gone. Was trying to surprise my hubby. He had to give up his job due to back injury and took up cooking. Watches the chew everday
Ruth Samuels says
The Chew is the greatest, I learn a lot about foods & dig fries ways to prepare them. Thank you all.
