For those keeping a running tally 😉 , here’s one more dining possibility for the soon-to-be Disney Springs!
You may know Chef Art Smith as a previous judge on BBQ Pitmasters, or as a founder of such restaurants as Art and Soul in Washington, D.C. or Table Fifty-Two in Chicago. You may even know him as Oprah Winfrey’s former chef, or as the author of Art Smith’s Healthy Comfort or Kitchen Life, with an emphasis on healthier takes on comfort food classics.
Well, he may have one more accomplishment to add to that list soon if the rumors are true… . Recently, the Chef posted a message on his Facebook page. And while it’s important to note that
the post has since been deleted, this may be another sign of even more dining adventures on the way to Disney Springs:
“Very excited about the planning of Chef Arts Florida Fish Camp at the new Disney Springs opening next Spring at Walt Disney World. Ive dreamed since I was a kid working there in 1980 that I return to the most Magical place on Earth.Iam very excited to welcome you all. XOArt”
It looks like Chef Art Smith may be returning to his Florida roots! We’ll be sure to keep you posted as we learn more about this and all other Disney Springs dining developments!
What do you think of this possible new addition to Disney Springs dining? Please let us know with a comment!
