Yesterday, we gave you a bunch of brand new news to process about the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
While we updated you on deets about NEW and returning Food and Wine Marketplace Booths, we’re also sharing some of the ways that Disney will celebrating this 20th Anniversary Milestone!
NEW Future World Marketplace Booths — More Details
Some of the biggest news about this year’s Festival is that Marketplace Booths are expanding into Future World. Last week, we told you about two new Chew-inspired Marketplaces — Sustainable Chew and Chew Lab. The Booths will be located in an area called Next Eats. Today we’re learning that this area will likely be located near the Epcot Character Spot in FutureWorld, steps away from The Land Pavilion.
We are also learning more about the other two Future World booths located in the Artistry of Wine and Cheese area. These sister spots will be located on the walkway toward Future World West.
Regarding the booths, the Cheese Studio will feature a sampling of artisan cheeses that are served on an artist’s palette, and all of the selections will pair well with the wines that are offered.
But the Wine Studio will also offer some pretty cool features. The wines that you can sample here will all be on tap. Yep — that’s right! Wine in kegs! Each keg holds the equivalent of 26 bottles of wine and keeps the wine perfectly fresh.
And it’s a savings for the environment, too, since there are no bottles, caps/corks, or cases to dispose of.
NEW Food and Wine Festival Discovery Sampler Package
For years, readers have been asking about purchasing some kind of all-inclusive pass to Dine Around the World. And in honor of the Festival’s 20th Anniversary, Disney is offering a package that’s kinda sorta like that.
The new Food and Wine Festival Discovery Sampler Package offers guests a credential with eight entitlements to enjoy food and drink from the Marketplace Booths. In addition, guests will have access to Priority Seating for the 6:45 Eat to the Beat Concert. They’ll also receive a limited edition 20th Anniversary Pin, which will be issued in three different colors. The cost of the package is $59 per person, plus tax. And unlike last year’s VIP Premium Package, the Discovery Sampler Package does not require a Disney Resort room stay.
(We haven’t received any information on whether or not the VIP Package will be back this year. Stay tuned.)
NEW Wines — Exclusively Made for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival
While we await more news about the inclusion of craft beers at this year’s Festival, we can tell you that there’s plenty to be excited about if you’re a wine lover.
Two wines have been created specifically to celebrate the Festival’s 20th Anniversary! Guests can enjoy the Napa Valley Festival Chardonnay and the Paso Robles Festival Cabernet Sauvignon by the glass or by the bottle.
Sample the wines at the Sustainable Chew Booth, where they’ll be paired with dishes created by The Chew chefs. If you like what you taste, then you’ll be able to purchase a bottle from the Festival Center Wine Shop!

Hey: Do you know is Disney Visa Card Holders will be able to book the Festival Sampler Discover Package on July 24th?
Luvf&w says
Absolutely can’t wait for the festival this year ..thank you for all of the early information!
Luvf&w says
Any info about the craft beer at the odyssey center returning?
Stephanie says
Are there any restrictions on what food and beverage items you can use the entitlements on for the sampler package?
AJ says
Stephanie — Yes, there will be some restrictions. For example, you won’t be able to use an entitlement for a $30+ glass of Dom Perignon. Most of the menu items should be available to use for entitlements, however.
charlotte brown says
could not find where to enter for the Disney tickets the chew is giving away
Brooke says
Charlotte — Here’s a link to enter The Chew’s Magical Culinary Adventure Sweepstakes. Good luck!
Brandi says
Hi – just curious what exactly can you buy with the entitlements? This will be our first year at the festival. Just curious if this is the best way to go. Thanks for the advice.
Brooke says
Brandi — The entitlements will be good for most of the food and drink options at the Food and Wine Festival Marketplace Booths, but there will be some exclusions printed on the credential you receive. While Disney hasn’t shared exactly what the exclusions are, we are figuring they are the most expensive items, like the glass of Dom Pérignon Champagne, which went for $32.00 per glass last year! 🙂
