It’s Friday, and that means one thing to me: HAPPY HOUR! 😀
But it’s also just weeks — WEEKS, PEOPLE! — from the start of the 2015 Epcot Food and Wine Festival!
Beginning on September 25 and running more than 7 weeks, this year’s Festival promises to be extra special as we mark the 20th Anniversary of the event. We’re looking forward to trying some new dishes and revisiting some old favorites.
And of course, along with the eats, there will be plenty of fantastic drink options to enjoy as well. Back again this year is the Frozen Szarlotka Cocktail at the Poland Marketplace Booth. It’s a great pairing with all of the dishes at the Poland Booth, like the Kielbasa & Potato Pierogi with Caramelized Onions and Sour Cream as well as the Sauerkraut Pierogi. (Want to make the Kielbasa and Potato Pierogies at home too? Check out our recipe here.)
This is THE perfect drink for Fall in Florida. It has that wonderful flavor of Apple Cider, but it’s nice and icey, which may make you forget for a moment that it’s still 90 degrees outside. And it’s SUPER easy to put together! Take a look.

JimmyV says
It’s not grass fed vodka, it’s Bison grass (infused) vodka.
Brooke says
JimmyV — Ha! My mind must have been on dinner! 😉 I’ve corrected the recipe to “Bison Grass”, as the rest of the post reads. Thanks!
Joanne Justin says
Should down a Frozen Szarlotka sometime!
Andrew says
The Szarlotka we had last night at EPCOT was a completely different drink than what we see here or anywhere online. It still had cider and vodka, but there was apple pie filling in the bottom and apple crisp on the top. It wasn’t a frozen blended drink version either. This version was absolutely fantastic and actually tasted like an apple pie. We had to eat them with a spoon while drinking the rest of it at the end.
Brooke says
Andrew — Wow! Major change. Thanks so much for letting us know!
