Chocolate lovers — we have some mouth-watering news for you today!
Walt Disney World continues to bring enticing new restaurants, food kiosks, and shops to the NEW Disney Springs. And now, Disney has announced The Ganachery, a chocolate shop set to open later this year.
The Ganachery will be located in The Landing section of Disney Springs, near guest favorites like The BOATHOUSE, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, Joffrey’s Tea Traders, and Morimoto Asia. Inside, shoppers will find custom blend gourmet chocolate in which to indulge!
After traveling the world researching the art of making chocolate, Walt Disney World chefs have created their own unique blends. Made with the finest beans, this all-new store will feature ganache (a decadent mixture of chocolate and cream).
A chocolatier will hand-craft fresh batches daily from an on-stage kitchen. Selections will include dark (65 percent custom blend), hazelnut, chipotle, and a custom blend designed from the world’s finest spices and flavors.
Indulge on the spot or select take-home gifts in custom packages. We can’t wait to see the chocolate bars inspired by Disney characters!
With the recent openings of Morimoto Asia and Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, this shopping and dining destination should be a must stop on your next Disney vacation.
Sounds delicious, right?! Disney Food Blog will be sure to bring our readers more details as they emerge. Will they accept Disney Dining Plan snack credits? Not sure yet, so stay tuned!

Disney Springs is quickly becoming a can’t miss attraction equal to the parks! I only hope I have enough room in my suitcase to bring home enough of this delicious looking chocolate to last me until my next visit.

I am a Disney lover and a chocoholic so this sounds like heaven to me, will be arriving on November 28 th, when will it be open I wonder ?
Aaaba says
Not sure how this will work? Ganache is a cake icing. Will we grab a bucket o’ganache or will they scoop it into a cone?
Interesting concept, I just can’t seem to visualize.
Brooke says
Aaaba — Ganache can be used in a myriad of ways, depending on the ratio of cream to chocolate. It can be whipped or poured to ice a cake, but it can also be used to make truffles. We’re anxious to see how this place takes shape as well! We will keep you posted as details emerge.

I’m the opposite of Logan. I’m actually thinking ‘uh oh, where’s the milk chocolate?’! I hate dark chocolate and even semi sweets pushing it.
Cintia says
I was there today, they give you a bit to taste and is good but prices are kinda ridiculous, $3 for a little square thats maybe 2×2 inches
