Hold on to your evil hats, Disney Villains fans… because it looks like Club Villain is on the way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Club Villain has appeared on the Walt Disney World website, offering a brand new “dance-and-dine event,” which will hit the scene on January 16, 2016 and continue on select Saturday nights at Sunset Showcase.
Dr. Facilier will be the host of this special event featuring a stage-show, DJ, and “up-close encounters” with a few of his fellow famous Disney Villains such as Maleficent, the Queen of Hearts, the Evil Queen, and Cruella De Vil.
It will also feature… FOOD! Dishes served in the banquet-style setting will focus on the tastes of New Orleans, offering items such as Tender Beef Striploin rubbed with herbes de Provence, Voodoo Sticky “Pig Wings” with citrus gremolata, and Spicy Shrimp sautéed with Andouille sausage, tomato, okra and onions served over creamy polenta. Specialty cocktails will also be available for guests 21 and over, along with beer and wine.
The cost to attend Club Villain is $99 per guest, including tax and gratuity. Advance payment and separate admission to Hollywood Studios are both required to attend. Interested guests may book online or call 407-WDW-DINE (3463). Start times appear to vary from 5:45 pm, 7:45 pm, and 9:15 pm based on the selected evening. According to the Walt Disney World website, reservations may be made up to 90 days out. However, at the time of this writing, reservations appear via the online booking engine through March 26, 2016.

Wishful thinking, but I reallllllyyyyy hope that these keeps going until the end of next year when my family and I will be going. I had the great joy of seeing Dr. Facilier in the parks shortly before Princess and the Frog came out, and he was fabulous. Anything involving him and the other villains is a must-do!
inb4 “omg so expensive I should tell people how to spend their money”

We went to the villains sinister soirée last year and we say it’s the best money we have ever spent at Disney world! This seems to be similar to that event. I hope it does continue through next year Bc we are going thanksgiving week this year and we hope to go next year for food and wine 🙂

Sounds fun but like a couple other events I’ve seen advertised this is on the spendy side. Lots of us have to really save up to do a Disney trip. Maybe for locals who don’t have to do all the airfare hotel stuff also.

I don’t see the cost an issue as it’s just a little bit more than the luau and a lot less than most hotels at disney!

So food and drink included? Or is that a separate cost?

Disney is all about the almighty dollar these days. While I LOVE the idea of partying with the villains, Disney could have set it up in the new Disney Springs (and made it a regular, nightly event), where you don’t have to pay an entry ticket to Hollywood Studios AND the show. Frankly, with the construction situation there, there really isn’t enough to make it worth the double cost.

I was really excited to hear about this event. We’ll be at Disney on March 26th, but that time appears to be unavailable on the website (unlike what was written above). Does anyone know if they shortened the event to end in February, or if March dates may become available later?

Sounds great! We will be at WDW for two weeks in January, 2016 and we have reservations for Club Villain AND Star Wars Symphony of Stars. Can’t wait!
