Recently while in Walt Disney World, a friend and I had some time to kill between events. So we decided to stop into Mizner’s Lounge for a little refreshment.
Mizner’s Lounge is located in the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. This beautiful bar and lounge is a relaxing place to unwind any time of the day. But I especially love it in the evenings, when you can catch the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra playing.
You’ll find Mizner’s tucked back into one end of the second floor at the Grand. Its location off the beaten path means that it’s usually on the quiet side here. You don’t just “happen upon” Mizner’s. You have to actually go to it.
Since I’m usually here after dark, I decided to take a look around and get a few photos of it for you during the day.
Mizner’s, along with the rest of the Grand, underwent a little refresh a few years back. The overall effect is still elegant, but it’s a lot less formal. And check out the views of the beautiful Grand Floridian grounds from the lounge’s windows!
Those window tables called to me. 🙂 And while I enjoyed the view, I also decided to see what was new on the menu.
As with some of my other favorite Disney lounges like Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian and the Territory Lounge at the Wilderness Lodge, Mizner’s has some wonderful pub grub. (Check out some of our very favorite Disney Pub Grub in this review.) If you need a bite to eat when you stop in here, try the Pork Belly! (Note that many of the items here are similar to what you can get as appetizers over at Citricos as well.)
This time out, though, I was strictly looking for a cocktail. There are a few options to choose from in addition to the Standard Disney Bar Menu.
Ultimately, I decided to go with the Grand Cocktail. The combination of Ketel One Citroen Vodka, Pomegranate Liqueur, Cranberry Juice, and Soda Water sounded refreshing.
And it was! It’s a beautiful drink, with its ombre appearance. And the Pomegranate, Cranberry, and Lime Juice married together wonderfully, of course.
It was the perfect drink for an interlude between meetings — not too heavy at all, and very refreshing.
Have you tried the Grand Cocktail at Mizner’s Lounge? Leave a comment and tell us if it sounds good to you!

I had never been To Mizners until I listened to a review on the WDW Radio Podcast with Lou Mongello. Its definitely a must stop for me now. The pork belly is simply scrumptious!!! Evening’s become super magical with he addition of the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra. If your someone who has always wanted to try Citricos or even V&A but cant swing it, an evening at this lounge will give you a glimpse of the magic that is dining at Grand Floridian.

The Mizner Lounge is always stop #3 on our “afternoon monorail break” when we need to get out of the Magic Kingdom for a bit. Nothing better than a 7pm rezzie at Be Our Guest,, so you can hit Trader Sams at 4pm Mizner at 5 for cocktail hours.

Mizner’s is seriously still such a hidden gem. By FAR one of my favorite places on property to just be. The food, of course, is awesome and the cocktails wonderful. But really, the Bartenders are maybe my favorite on property! I love me some Shiela (seen in this photo) :), and Tammy has always been a huge favorite! Mizner’s will always be a must stop at watering hole whether it be for a cocktail and cigar, food and relaxation, or just a friendly face to say hello before dinner at Victoria & Albert’s or Citricos!
