2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival Coverage
Epcot Food and Wine Festival World Showcase Booths
Over 30 marketplace booths will be set up on the promenade around Epcot’s World Showcase Lagoon — and will also stretch once again into Future World! Booth names and menus will be announced this Summer! Stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog Newsletter for immediate details when we have them!
We’ll see the return of the Hops & Barley Booth this year!
In past years, this marketplace featured hearty dishes featuring Americana favorites that pair especially well with beer. And 2016 is no exception. The Smoked Beef Brisket and Pimento Cheese on Garlic Toast from Hops & Barley is one of our favorites so far this year!
Watch for new menu items at multiple marketplace booths! To quench your thirst, champagne, cocktails, and “mocktails” will be on marketplace menus. And joining the lineup at the Desserts and Champagne Booth, guests can indulge in Grown Up Ice Cream Floats, made with a variety of Hard Sodas!
We are excited to confirm that the Greece Booth will return in 2016! We can’t wait to try the new Loaded Vegan Greek Nachos!
The Brazil Booth is back for 2016 as well! Last year, it featured Crispy Pork Belly with Black Beans, Onions, Avocado, and Cilantro as well as Xingu Black Beer. And we absolutely love the Cocada — Brazilian Coconut Candy! We’re can’t wait to see what they’re serving up in 2016, and hope some of these favorites return.
The free Marketplace Discovery Passport will also return this year. In 2015 — gluten free and vegetarian items were noted! Be sure to get your stamps at each international marketplace!
Epcot Food and Wine Festival Special Events
From signature dinners to galas, culinary demonstrations to mixology and wine seminars, several high-end Special Events will be offered at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival this year!
Returning again in 2016 are the popular Rockin’ Burger Block Parties! Look for these fun events to take place each weekend.
Party for the Senses grand tasting events will return again in 2016. And new for 2016, the special event will feature a new theme each week as well as new entertainment!
We also can’t wait to learn more about the new “cooking school” premium experiences that will be offered at the resorts!
Celebrity Chefs
Celebrity Chefs bring extra excitement to the festival. Chefs scheduled to appear so far in 2016 include Cat Cora, Norman Van Aken, Masaharu Morimoto, Elizabeth Falkner, Buddy Valastro, and Jamie Deen.
Look for your favorite chef during culinary demos and premium events. A huge number of Disney and visiting chefs will participate in this year’s festival!
Epcot Food and Wine Festival Welcome Center
The Back to Basics series, free with your Epcot admission, returns in 2016! Look for this complimentary series to include “epicurean tips and tricks from the pros”!
Eat to the Beat Concerts
Throughout the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, popular bands from the 80s and 90s and even the 00s take the stage at the American Gardens Theater in the American Adventure Pavilion for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. These concerts are free with Epcot admission, and take place three times per evening.

For access, just present your Chase Card.
Free with Epcot Admission
Free with Epcot admission are the Festival Center Back to Basics series, special book signings, Eat to the Beat concerts, cultural adventures, Marketplace Discovery Passport, and all attractions and park entertainment. Festival hours could again extend to 10pm on weekends!
Festival Merchandise
A full range of Festival merchandise will be available to commemorate your visit to the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
